If you're able to get a lethal abundance from iron banner with slice and hatching, you can free up your exotic slot to run something like the dragons breath and do tons of dot damage.
Rufus fury with demo and hatchling is a good alternative

Been running this build for a week. But with monty Carlo instead. And weave walk. Much more survivability
Strand is strong, but I don't see the synergy with the Necros here. Swarmers would give every single threadling unraveling, for example. Karnsteins give you restoration, or resto 2x with finishers; you can rock a Vexcalibur and get cure 3x and resto with every glaive melee kill. Plus woven mail. Plus the void overshield from Vexcalibur. I like the Necros, but can't help thinking a strand build would be better served by some other exotic.
Necrotic are goog if you play with suspend grenade and the mindspun aspect these combination is a beast for crowd control
I like QS but I hate the scope, I have a similar build with Swarmers and envious/target lock Perpetualis with mastered stability. The amount of threading that spawn are nuts.

Give this build a go with Final Warning sidearm. I have been playing with and it’s nuts. Initially I wrote it off and stowed it in the vault. But I have put some time in to learning how to use it and it’s good fun. I have the Ros argo IV with onslaught and I am having a blast.

Don’t bring this into a gm. Sick of you guys throwing for clout. Use proper loadouts in gms.
@@neverzackdown why? the Final Warning takes out Karl fast enough. I get threadlings for miles as it’s dominated against everything I’ve used it on so far. For reference see the video below. It did great in a legend Starcross mission and I can solo legend lost sectors. You have obviously not put any time into learning how to use it.

Same reason you typically don't take a shotgun or SMG into GM's. Just not worth it in public games. @@PubRunner
@@ZetzMemp didn’t watch the video and haven’t spent any time learning the sidearm huh? It melts overload champions. I have longer range weapons when needed.
Plus with Final Warning you can literally shoot around corners matrix style. I haven’t mastered that skill yet tho.

100% agree that strand weapons give you better synergy with Necrotic with unraveling seasonal artifact mods - the poison on top of all that free unravel just melts.
And Swarmers are super redundant this season since their main strength is Unraveling Threadliings, so I'd much rather have something like Necrotic with this seasonal artifact's Unraveling Orbs mod.

simply due to how it synergies with Horde shuffle.
You can legit unravel whole rooms in second at high frequency. Grenade, swarmers, damage targets, get more swarmers, room is empty.
Ok Maven did some damage numbers and the strand exotic sidearm was putting out some serious damage. I love quicksilver for its simplicity but I think the sidearm is worth checking out.
I say it like that because I really haven’t got its rhythm down yet but she definitely has.

It’s obvious that you comment pretty regularly on stuff you dislike. But how about sending people to a good source that you think is trustworthy?
Btw damage testing will wells, buffs and debuffs is pretty useless when you’re solo, playing with blueberries, or don’t have every raid exotic.

Gonna give it a go. I don’t have much in the way of artifice armor, but oh well.
You don't need to have Artifice armor. I use this build but with Swarmers instead of Necro's and for the best stats I m only using one piece of Artifice armor. The only extra thing Artifice has is an extra slot that you can add plus 3 to one of your stats.
While I don't doubt this build's strength, there IS an auto rifle that synergizes with Necrotic Grips, that being Necrochasm, as it is a weapon of sorrow. But regardless, I'll definitely check this build out!

I’ve run many Master Lost Sectors on Warlock and yet to find Necrotic Grips. I read you have to complete something with Beyond Light (I’ve fully unlocked Stasis, but did not go any further than the campaign) and also can only get them from a lost sector on Europa. Is any of this true? Would it have to be an arms reward on Europa to obtain them?

not warlock specifically no. they're all tied to the quest line for lightfall so you have to complete a series of side quests along with the main story line of lightfall on each character

This is true. He says bad accuracy but i never have to aim to get precision shots because of its tracking projectiles. Just shoot above the head and hip fire to get the most dps and you never have to load.

You lost me when you said osteo has horrible accuracy and that the nerf has made it bad….any person who does the math will show you that osteo is still one of if not the highest damage primary still in the game. Your video sucks bud
My primary beef with Osteo is that it's an incredibly boring gun to use. It is, however, insanely strong with the Necro gloves, no doubt about it.
