Can the way the system of the mormon church functions be compared to a relationship with a narcissist?

I love how apologists like to say 45 min of a prophet, speaking in the temple AT THE VAIL, is just a prophet speaking as a man. If not in the temple then when and where?
Well done! Also, let's not forget how Brigham Young preached that apostates were to have their throats slit (blood atonement) and their blood spilled upon the ground. Those Danites were kept busy during his era.
My narcissistic mother emotionally and spiritually abused me from birth. I couldn't see it until I left the church at age 50. If you are swimming in the water your whole life, you don't recognize how toxic it is until you see what fresh water looks like.
Excellent description of a narcissist. One ruined my life I’m still putting the pieces back together.
Ann Eliza Webb Dee Young Denning said, he Brigham “Was the Prince of Blunders” The apologetic clowns can and do spin any BS in any light they choose. It is not hard to uncover with today’s scholarship the myriad of his egregious selfishness and outrageous failures.
The consensus here [in Utah] is that the Mormon-leaning judges will quickly dismiss the case.
Shouldn't LDS judges recuse themselves? Too close to the case, obvious opportunity to be biased
I don't see why the church should be forced what to teach. But they should be honest about finances, seems pretty simple.
They just should stop lying and be more true to the bible and become christians
Do you mean they should not be forced to teach the truth while requiring money for admission to temple and heaven?
@@haroldwhite5761 yes
Sounds like a book on Brigham Young that has been twisted to a more pleasant palatable experience
10:20 I'm not sure I understand what is different or unusual in that. He is just defending the right of Mormonism to exist on the leaders' terms as it has always existed, with leadership engaging in the same things it engaged in from the beginning. By now, it should not even be news to anyone inside or outside the church who takes any time to do their homework and read the primary-source documents. Maybe they should be focused on evangelizing those without an Internet connection.
Well, well, well! All of this was most enlightening to say the least. That last quote I have lived and did so for 30 years with my now X-husband.
I keep saying this but I"ll say it again. Whether JSmith used a brown rock or the Urim and Thummim makes a huge difference to prospective members who know that biblically using the brown stone is called Divination and calls for death in the bible. Using the U and T would be considered appropriate.
Instinctively Mormons know this and that's why the brown stone is unacceptable and why it was mentioned once or twice in decades while the church commissioned many works of art that leave out the brown rock althogether. It may seem irrelevant to unknowledgable judges, but this is the reason it was hidden and the judges need to educate themselves as to the deeper reasons for so many deceptions. These deceptions, like it or not, have religious significance that the law cannot grasp.
Oh wow. They didn’t have pics of the YM? That is messed up.
Thank you for sharing
Very good report this morning, I agree with you about what the church can do to legally hide things.
He can move to UT and become a bishop. Lol
Cults are legal
8:43 Oh My Gosh!
So the church affirmed that crimes of omission are covered under the First Amendment. It was also disturbing to see the most vocal judge at the 11th Circuit in San Francisco in challenging Huntsman*'s attorney, being not only a BYU alum but the son of a clerk to Spencer W Kimball.
ANTI-MORMON News Update. Really pathetic.
Thanks for watching. The words of the prophets can be rough.
Kinda funny how you chose to comment, as engagement impacts the algorithm & thus the channel's visibility. Commenting helps the channel, regardless of the content of the comment.
Anti-church of jesus christ of latter-day saints news update. 😑
@@GenerallyUnquotable oh good one. You do have to say the full name. At least for the next few days or months. Then back to the old way of things.
