In the text file “*webapi_authkey.txt*” we paste the generated Web API key.
After this, the server you launch will be able to connect to Steam's MasterServer, and will allow players to find your server in the "Community Server Browser".
And most importantly, other players will be able to connect to your server (provided that you have a public IP address and not *closed ports*)

How to figure out, is your ports are closed?
On one of the sites below, type your white IP and port,
with which you started the server (by default it is *27015*):

If the port is closed, there are only three options for where it is closed and how to open it:
1) It is protected by your operating system's firewall

2) It is closed by the security settings of your Router

3) It is closed by your ISP.
In such cases, you will need to contact your provider and find out if it is possible to open the ports that you need?
The file “*webapi_authkey.txt*” can be used not only for the server.
You can throw it along the same path, only into the game itself - and in this case, by writing map mapname into the game console you will launch not just a map, but you will launch a dedicated server. To which people will be able to connect knowing the white IP, or simply by finding it in the "Community Server Browser".
