The Seekers' double bassist recalls their breakthrough

The Seekers double bass player Athol Guy says the group was named the top best new group internationally by the "Oscars of the music industry".
“We went straight up to number one with our first song and straight up to number one with our second song 'A will of our own’," Mr Guy told Sky News Australia.
