The focus on swim suits made national news at the start of the 2019 season. Thankfully things were over-turned. Let's keep these problems far, far away from our setting.

High school swimming has all sorts of special rules that are not part of USA swimming. So are so outdated.
This issue of girls swimsuits has come up so many times, as each kid has different body shapes.
If the suit is school issued or approved , this rule gets overturned most of the time.
Skin suits are typically not used in high school swimming. These take the girls 20-40 MINUTES to put on….. and are outrageous in price …. $400+

Every swimmer wants to take advantage of new swimsuit technology, swimmers have different body shape and some swimming competition spectators are very prude (as seen here 🤦🏻‍♂️).

The honest truth is, the swimsuits are getting too revealing. In the Olympic trials, the swimsuits and the track suits that the girls are wearing our starting to look like G strings with a top on. And the girls that do the floor exercises when they do their tumbles and backflips and all that my gosh, all you see is a little string going up their rear end. what has happened to modesty.? 😩😩😩

AGREED!!! And now a lot of young women and teen girls are starting to wear these types of very revealing suits at "FAMILY- FRIENDLY" environments... and I just don't get that!! It's so inappropriate and disrespectful! We recently took our family to a resort that we've gone to the last 7 years, and this resort has ALWAYS prided itself on being "family-friendly". We couldn't believe the thongs and G-string suits young women were parading around the pools in. It felt like "Disneyland meets Big Al's Strip Club"!! Just so wrong!
