you are one very talented man I give you that! I was going to attempt to do this job on my 2013 535D as I keep losing oil and then I could smell oil in the car after a journey so I whipped my hand down the back of the engine and low and behold my hand is covered in oil. no way would I attempt to do this its way above my skill level and the last one I did was in 1999 and much easier! have you ever seen an issue with the rocker cover its self being the issue ? imagine doing all that and then it leaks again even with a new gasket.
Thanks mate I followed this on 2012 730d worked a charm. Had to walk to the gas station as I only had 10L of fuel its minimum 20L to run fuel bleed that sucked. By the time I got to that point in the video it was too late haha. I used ISTA to bleed. Got that injector puller off AliExpress $20 as well as copper washers and o rings
short answer ... because I was dump ... Long answer, I thought it is only the gasket that ages. I have never worked on that part and I did not know the cover can have problems, as it is made by 2 parts joined together. Also ... gasket is 20GBP ... complete cover is 200+GBP.... this is what comes next ruclips.net/video/EUSe3Od1AMs/видео.html
that’s a lot of work. Well done. My take away and learning from this was a useful one, which was not to try this myself!
:)) don't give up that easy. you can do it.

I am glad to see someone actually putting the information into practice.
Good video, I have to do it on my x3 e83. Does anyone know the tightening diagram? Thx.
When do you use the injector seat cutting tools? What is their purpose exactly? Do you have to worry about metal shards falling into the cylinder?
what would you think is their purpose?
Not necessary to cut the seat, I've done hundreds of these and just used a wire brush to clean injector bores and never had an issue.
Thanks
Hello, nice video. Why not change valve cover? Most all recommended replacament together valve cover with valve cover gasket?

Can you use the D7S to bleed the fuel system or do you need to buy the x-431 to do this?
tested today, and the answer is no. xtool is not able to bleed bmws
Hello is the 320d (N47) less pain than this one?
don't think so ... you do the same steps only 4 injectors vs 6
What are you doing at 14:03?
cutting the cover so that I don't need to undo the HP fuel lines or bend them and have problems later when reconnecting.
how many hours did it take?
maybe 5, but I also filmed the work
Hpfp ruined
not yet
why? how can you see that? what are the symptoms?
