For one tree one trap is more than enough. Generally 4 or 5 traps are enough for one Acre.

@@akashsharmakarnal The minimum amount available in your area will be fine,,,once you make the trap,, it works great for atleast 6,,,7 months. The trap in the video is about 5 months old and still works great.

Best you leave birds to eat such fly.in the 1st place .... Now , having used insecticide should when you get rid of the contents they will be toxic to birds and water

Thanks for comment! It's for crops protection, to protect fruits and vegetables from fruit fly infestation. The larvae you see inside most fruits and vegetables are fruit fly larvae. Have already made a trap for fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster).
