@cool nah this was way more articulate and well spoken I dont mind colby hes a phenomenal fighter, but i find hes not a natural trash talker. Trips over his words a lot, doesnt have great quick quips like a Chael or Conor. I find his trash talk kinda lame tbh Hes an amazing, amazing fighter tho
Nope! Nate had the best call out. Plus the daiz brothers were the 1st to bring the WWE call out drama to MMA. Not Chreal Sonnen. Although Cheal is the father of WWE in MMA
I'm so glad UFC fans are able to see how great Michael Chandler has been, for years in Bellator. He was the best lightweight in the world for a period of time but wasn't given the spotlight being in a smaller company like Bellator. Now he's got the MMA world buzzing with this KO. Never in a boring fight either
But man this also shows how awful Bellators marketing is. They have had gems and they still couldn’t promote them. Like even last week so many people didn’t even know that YOEL ROMERO was fighting. Like that’s a name even a lot of casual fans know and they still couldn’t capitalize
I thought I couldn't like Micheal chandler any more b but after this performance and the octagon interview you just can't deny he's one of the most entertaining fighters and is willing to fight anyone and one of the best in the division 🙌
I’ve been pretty hardcore for 6+ years, and as an old wrestling fan, this was easily the best promo I’ve ever seen cut in mma. The deep breath….. “CONOR MCGREGOR!!!!” So epic
Chandler has been one of the best signings for UFC. The guy is so entertaining comes in each fight with a kill or be killed approach, speaks well, very likeable good looking. Deserves it all!
Fuck those loses. We’ll call it adjusting to the big show 🤷♂️😂 nah I’ve been slowly becoming a big fan of chandler. He carries himself so well and the power he possesses in that short stocky frame is crazy.
Zaki Naqvi And it’s gonna work IMO. Unless Conor lands Usman. But Conor doesn’t like his odds against fighters with Usman’s height and reach. He said so long ago. Shorty Chandler just threw out a baited hook and I think Conor’s gonna bite.
@@yaakw Conor would take the Usman fight in a second if he can get it. He makes 40-50 M with that fight. Only other fight he made that much was vs Khabib He likely can’t get that fight tho too many worthy competitors at 170
@@yaakw Usman would make like 20 M with a Conor fight I bet. Yes he makes WAY less than Conor even though hes WAY better but fact is he sells much less. Usman vs Oli would be two of the P4P great fighting and it would 100p sell half as many PPVs as Conor vs Nate Diaz which is two guys that have combined barely won any fights in 5 years. Its sometimes more important to sell than to win

WHAT A MONSTER! Best front head kick knockout in UFC history! Man that speech got me hyped as hell. Hope he fights for the title this year because the man never fails to entertain!
I agree, especially because Chandler relies more on his wrestling and punches than kicks, even though he has great kicks. We expect stuff like this from Wonderboy, Anderson Silva, and Lyoto Machida since they have the best kicks in MMA but not from somebody like Chandler. At the same time, Chandler did this against someone who has one of the strongest chins in MMA pound for pound.

From Chandlers first big win, he has been calling people out left and right, and most of the time, when fighters do it, it’s annoying and reeks of desperation, but there is something endearing about this guy. He’s got a lot of heart in it for sure.
When dudes call out other dudes left and right, most of the time they're waffling. Chandler has proven in all his UFC fights he's game for a fight with anyone and he will bring war to whoever he fights. That's why we love his call outs. We know his are legit.
As a Tony fan this one hurt differently. My heart dropped to my stomach. I never expected to see him out like that. Props to chandler though. Heart wrenching loss.
@Apeman Commeth I saw all his bellator fights, and I honestly thought he would be a gatekeeper at best, which he may still be. But I’ll be damned if that wasn’t a great night for the dude and one of the wildest KO’s I’ve seen in a long ass time.
I was simultaneously so happy for Michael Chandler and so devastated for Tony Ferguson. The mix of emotions brought tears to my eyes this night. I still can't believe this happened. I went from thinking Tony was finally about to get back in the win column, and moments later I thought he was dead.
Chandler is one of the most likable fighters in the UFC right now. A great guy outside the octogon and an absolute savage in it. Honestly it doesn’t matter to me who he is fighting I’m watching it
Chandler is bullshit guy number 1. Always ducking opponents. He said it himself, like uncle Chael said you want the biggest and easiest fights. That's why he will never be champion.

Tony's recovery is absolutely inhuman. Idk how the hell he managed to get up and not only walk out of that cage but participate in the official decision.
I didn't think about that that is so true

I'm so glad UFC fans are able to see how great Michael Chandler has been, for years in Bellator. Never in a boring fight either
his fight against alvarez was a war!
But man this also shows how awful Bellators marketing is. They have had gems and they still couldn’t promote them. Like even last week so many people didn’t even know that YOEL ROMERO was fighting. Like that’s a name even a lot of casual fans know and they still couldn’t capitalize

And it’s gonna work IMO.
Only other fight he made that much was vs Khabib
He likely can’t get that fight tho too many worthy competitors at 170

Probably so. And Usman with the win gets $900K. Dana’s such a blatant schmuck.
@@yaakw Usman would make like 20 M with a Conor fight I bet. Usman gets PPV points so Conor fight could potentially sell 2 M ppvs. 20 M prob a low estimate if it sold that well
Khabib reportedly got 40 M when he fought Conor. That fight sold like 2.4 M though
Usman already makes over 1 M every fight i think before PPV. he does quite well for himself.

I agree, especially because Chandler relies more on his wrestling and punches than kicks, even though he has great kicks. We expect stuff like this from Wonderboy, Anderson Silva, and Lyoto Machida since they have the best kicks in MMA but not from somebody like Chandler.
