Very satisfied , his team watching til the very end , proper .
@@richardmorris7063 sports history yes, World history is the opposite lol
I wish i had someone like that in my corner, just for life. what a guy, WHAT an inspiration. Need more people like that in the world.
As someone who is from birmingham, i am very proud of leon edwards , watching that live was amazing i couldn’t believe he came back in the 5 th round with such a beautiful KO win. Amazing stuff leon cannot wait to see his reign as champ 🇯🇲 🇬🇧 ❤️
Same bro I was so gassed to see him get the job done, well deserved after the amount of disrespect he’s endured, looking forward to seeing him defend in England 🙌🏻
Ur name Mohammed Usman is that just or coincidence or 😂😂😂
Same bro man gassed
he wont keep the belt, mark my word, hes losing it on the first title defence lmao, he dont have heart for a champ
Big up Brumtown
I want guys like Leon's corner in my
Friends circle, gives me the chills listening to him again, I honestly think this was a huge reason that he was ably to come back and win in such devastating fashion. Much respect to Leon Edward's, CEO of EPO down!!
Don’t let him bully ya son!!!
Here from the 286 press conference???😂
Do not feel sorry for yourself. I felt that. I am glad that his coach knows how to push his buttons.
I always thought he lacked that extra confidence needed to make a champion, now I see he’s team has pushed him over the line. I think from now on he’ll be around for a while 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I really hope he does stick around but I see Usman regaining the title in the rematch with a very safe wrestling approach
@@jacobraudies6191 it will probably happen. And it will be boring to watch
I think he can become unbeatable now. He will be fighting in the craziest stadium in his own country now and the world supports him
@@jacobraudies6191 If Leon stays in the center of the octagon, Kamaru will have a rough time. All of the takedowns were alongside the fence where Kamaru could get an easy doubleleg lift. Hope to more striking confidence from Leon to gain control. Bar miles the best striker in the WW division.
@@jacobraudies6191 Not too sure Leon will be improving having confidence after this win. He’s coming into his prime turning 31 Usman is 35 this is around the time things start to slow down 1st KO loss he was winning the fight but not sure how his confidence and body will hold up after this….. (Unless he goes from Roid-man to Super Roid-man 💉💉💉💉)
Leon had already felt he was going to lose, but his coaches felt he had a bit more left.
“Stop feeling sorry for yourself." was all he needed to get him out of his personal defeat.
We all need such inspirational coaches in our corners.
Love the way he didn't follow up with the hammer fists. He knocked Usman's ego to the spirit world.
the avatar cycle has been reborn
Yea, he needed a check.
yeah man usman needed that ego check
Watching that arrogant juicehead get koed like that was the most satisfying thing to watch.
I think he never the kick would land that's why.. he was lucky because Usman was really beating him up.. but I am happy for.. Usman has no ego.. he worked hard to get to this stage
Can see Leon coach shaking uncontrollably as he pours water on him. That’s pure love and passion for his fighter.
Not just the achievement of the fighter but the entire team behind him. All well deserving of that championship victory.
Honestly bro I clocked the same thing. Pure to see.. can see how much it means to them all
I'm Nigerian🇳🇬 and i love Usman alot, but seeing how Leon's team inspired him, even when he started doubting himself is truly amazing. Leon has had a rough time in the UFC and i believe he deserves his measure of happiness and success too. If Usman doesn't get the belt back, no problem, he's made already, i do hope this win is only the beginning of a wonderful career for Leon Edwards too. Congrats Champ.👊🏾
Marty juiceman got KTFO 😸. Get rekt.
Bro when he knocked him out in the last minute the gym literally exploded so excited to see leon on the Monday when he's back in brum.
My God. I can't even imagine how awesome that must have been. Leon has the heart of lion!!!
Bro I was at a bar it was so loud it sounded like a football field
It's just crazy to see Leon's corner never gave up on him after the 3 consecutive, very dominant rounds from Usman. I think everyone watching the game thought the game was over. What a teamwork.
Fight not a game
"Stop feeling sorry for yourself" just pierces through everything else. I am sure that one woke Leon up a bit.
That “stop feeling sorry for yourself” just pierces the soul. Any man experiencing adversity can attest to it.
This moment will remain forever in UFC history.
This was quite literally like a rocky movie. Unbelievable leon.
Leon's coach believed in him when he didn't believe in himself. Leon executed while his team set his mental trajectory in that critical last round. Truly amazing.
Man I’m getting goosebumps watching it back. A truly special moment in UFC history. Let’s go Rocky!
watched it 50 times, still can't get enough of the speech after round 4. Even better than Khamzats coach.
man, me too.. chills every single time. Like a damn movie!
Khamzat was just being plain stupid throwing away the game plan. So his coach's advice had a different tone
no vid of the kick tho, 50X? really?
youtube search the rocky theme version...even better
well just keep rewinding it and playing it nothing wrong with that .
I literally had tears, fawk man. When I saw that water bottle shaking like an earth quake, it was obvious this coach was a million percent invested. Wow ...
AJ needed some of this motivation in his corner.
True!
😬😬 the man ain't lying
Still wouldve lost
AJ just ain't good enough. This guy was.
And not some sort of false info, while aj was clearly getting beaten “BRILLIANT AJ BRILLIANT”.
Usman’s face is the definition of humbled when he got knocked out.
No I think he was just upset with himself. He had the fight won easily. He destroyed Leon, but got lazy at the end and paid for it.
@@johnnysanchez4996 One man got destroyed last night and it wasn't Leon Edward's.
@@popfu1704 I agree
Usman was given a Nigerian Nightmare!
@@popfu1704 I also agree.
I love Leon, I grew up a couple of miles from where he is from and I always felt very happy and proud of him and his success. I can remember the feeling of utter despair as the rounds slipped away against Usman and I could see that Leon also felt the fight slipping away. The cornering was just sensational and exactly what was needed, it could have come straight out of a inspirational speech from an unbelievable hollywood film. I'm so happy for Leon and his team. Everytime I drive past Leon's giant poster near Birmingham City Centre it makes me smile from ear to ear. The nice guy finally got rewarded for once.
His corner have been a massive part of his success
Man, this 1:10 speech is so inspiring. Huge respect to Leon's corner, they believed in Leon more than Leon himself
It keeps hitting me in the feels!
Watching this live and hearing Leon’s coach saying, “come on son, stop feeling sorry for yourself.” And everything else he was telling Leon between rounds really amazed me.
He spoke with such conviction and Love for Leon. Mann it just made me want to see Leon win that much more!!
It was such an amazing moment
Now, your going to have to get it out of the fire rocky.. Goosebumps

Hearing those coaches In-between rds & then watching them crying along with Leon after the win was indescribable. Like everyone else has said...this was a Rocky movie. Been alot of great fights & moments but I can count on one hand how many times watching fights has made me feel this way.
Got goosebumps watching it live and will always get them every time watching this. The passion in his voice and the shakiness in his hand with the water afterwards was beautiful. So happy for Rocky Edwards, it’s been a long time coming my friends 🇬🇧
"Stop feeling sorry for yourself, well, come on then!"
Unwavering confidence in his fighter and stuck to the end with him.
HEADSHOT. BANG. DONE.
The anxiety leon must have been feeling in between rounds and for him to still pull it off amazing best sport in the world
Everyone was against him
I dint think dude had anxiety, he was tired and fatigued. Your not even thinking let alone anxiety. Just my 2cenrs
Because this was the fight of his life
@@m-jay356 Mexican Martial Arts predicted Leon would play weak/dead until the 5th round. I don't think Leon was as tried as we think.

The coach who'd demanded that Leon pull this **** out of the fire is brilliant! Indeed, his inspirational words had willed Leon to victory 🔥🔥🔥
I agree it felt like Mickey to Rocky... freakin inspirational... the Rocky music was playing in my head
When he told him that he's got to get ugly out there. The man was trying his best to motivate

Yes, Dave Lovell was the catalyst in Leon's victory. Kudos to his other coaches; However, when Lovell said, "Stop feeling sorry for yourself..." Leon came alive. It was Epic!

I am hearing Usman all day
😂😂😂 usman sounded so much like him man . Love itttt
Fair play to Leon and his team epic work guys..👍🏾
It was like an ending to a Rocky film.
The octagon even played the music
Leon “Rocky” Edwards
The best corner work I have ever seen in the UFC by a million miles, and probably one of the best in all combat sport, UNBELIEVABLE
I need this man in my corner every day!!!!
I think deep down Usman is a good guy, he just started to get full of himself, but man am I happy to see Leon Edwards win this!
Nothing wrong with being confident. But it needs to be balanced with humility. Volk is a perfect example of that.
He can’t be a good guy because he’s confident of his mma skills?
@@bradleyowusu9589 that's your estimation after seeing my comment? Learn to read
Usman was always like that.
I think so too, but this is the fight game, what do people expect Usman to be kissing his opponents in the cage??? Sure outside the cage but not in the octagon.
Look at Trevor Whitman smiling before the last round, he thought they won already. Leon served Usman and his whole team humble pie.
Right? Unbelievable
nah bro trevor probably smiling when he saw usman getting ko'ed lmaoo
Goosebumps, his coaches hand was trembling with adrenaline. 🏴🏴🏴
Good spot didn’t notice that. Crazy 👌
Omg I cried with those guys this morning - so happy for Leon - spectacular finish.
Goosebumps seeing this makes me proud to be British pure emotion that’s all he needed to be inspired what a coach and what a fighter this is what the sport is all about moments like this
AMEN!!!!
1:09 like a movie. Leon's coach didn't want to see him accept defeat. Love to see this as opposed to corners coddling their fighter.
Straight out a Rocky movie
factss
and the fact that its his nickname makes it so much better lol
Leon’s corner had me standing up the whole fight . the emotion, grit, and love for the sport had me feeling like i was there. awesome performance . amazing fight
Leon’s composure won him this fight, he was so effortless in that finishing sequence
Just when Leon was giving up, his team never did.
Can’t believe it’s been a year already, one of my favorite moments in UFC history and I’m so glad I got to watch it live 🥹 went through all the emotions with Rocky’s corner 🇯🇲🇬🇧
The difference between the over confident Usman corner and the never say die Edwards corner is unbelievable, amazing and epic.

This was one of those moments in any sport that as he was getting advice from his corner, I started tearing up from thr genuine faith his coaches had in him. Pulling him back up from him just giving in to if it went to decision. What a great moment in the sport.
Leon Edwards looked like he was losing confidence in himself. His coach kept the fire burning in him!
Usman had all that arrogance during the fight and got knocked out cold 🥶
