Ulundi is the former capital of the KwaZulu Homeland of the apartheid system. Buddy, besides that, Zulus dance similar to this as well, especially close to the heart of Zululand (Zulus are made up of all the tribes in Africa - while there is the Zulu family with its extended relatives are ethnically Zulu, most of the people who call themselves Zulus have their own ethnicity - that's how Gaadas or Nkathas work - you form a national identity and governance structure but individual tribes/clans get to choose their own customs). Zulus have many dances to accommodate all the ethnicities borne by the name Zulu. For instance, one of the largest grouping of people in South Africa is called Hlubi or Shubi in Tanzania, Samburu in Kenya and some tribes in Kikongo. The Nyanja (who make up the Mthethwa, Nqele, Msweli, Xesibe clan from which Zulus were built) are all over the same region and come from the Lubas. Both the right-hand (Sokudla - Dlamini) and left-hand houses of Kikongo live in South Africa (SokuNxele/Sokhohlo). Cultures are similar but unique BUT we are ONE people, not different!!! That being said, The dance is the most graceful of SSA, I have seen.
