What Cambered Bar are you using?
NoFate Affiliates Page: nofate247.com/affiliates/
Oh yeah!!!
Fringe Sport, yeah buddy!!!
I would say Texas Strong, but there in Austin.
LOL - I didn't know Austin wasn't in Texas :) What you two crazy kids up to this weekend? Carrying a tractor?
They say keep Austin weird. I say keep Austin in Austin. There's some great people there don't get me wrong. It's just not my thing.
ok that opener was pretty darn funny. not that you know anyone else has ever done that.
It didn't dawn on me that it'd occur and I'd been filming for 40 minutes so I was a bit frustrated and not thinking clearly
I got the Arch Nemesis from Bells last summer when they had that 99$ sale. I wanted the Rep one, but I couldn't afford not to buy it. 🤷♂️
Got the same deal - great for specialty bar.
at $99 that's a WINNER ALL DAY. mHow you liking it?
@@NoFate247 its ok, knurling passive at best, like you said, plate math becomes difficult
Great review. Always enjoy when multiple different com😊Angie’s and designs are compared.
Appreciate you being here! Do you lift with a swiss
Thank you for your content. I've been lifting for many years and my first multi grip bar was titan. And for the price wasn't a bad deal. You made my first choice and it was my rabbit hole lol 😂. Thanks keep up the good work.
Which one it using now? 😎
I'm using titan and elitefts. I sold my rep. That fringe sport seems like a good try
Right on, looking good my friend!
Trying to keep it held together
Yeah I really like that bar. After having three different versions of kabuki and 2 different versions of the bells of steel, this one’s definitely my favorite for the price.
What did you end up paying? You get the same deal as me?
@@NoFate247I believe so. I couldn’t afford not to buy it
I’ve had the fringe cambered Swiss bar for almost a year. I really like it. I actually just used it for OHP and incline bench this morning. I think it is easily the best cambered Swiss bar for the money. I love it for pendlay rows too.
Did you rock those coupon sales or what did you pay (If you don't mind me asking)?
@@NoFate247 I paid full price in late Feb last year. It was so much cheaper than the Kabuki Swiss bar I didn’t even think to try to get it cheaper.
Whoa 😳 that price you got it for is crazy 🤪 nice catch my man. Great review bro
If that was the permanent price, this would be a MUST BUY! What multi grip bar are you using?
@@NoFate247 I had the original Titan fitness camber bar at first and like you said it was a little hard to balance because it was so wide. Couple years later, I finally went for the kabuki kadillac bar with knurling. In my opinion, the kabuki bar should be $100 less 500 is a heavy hit to the wallet. Only reason I went with it is because I had zero financing through PayPal at the time.
Had a problem with one of the sleeves. Ended up calling kabuki and they were the middleman so they had to contact rogue and they ended up sending the wrong item 😆 so I had to call kabuki again and go through it all over again. Kabuki customer service takes forever…. if I had to do it all over again, I’d probably just go with the elite FTS version from the start. Every now and then they have a sale along with free shipping. That would’ve been better for my wallet. Hehe 😉
Man puts blood sweat and teeth into these reviews, gotta share the love. Fringe isn't advertising this too hard. This video is the 1st I've ever seen of it. Did you try and do lat pulls with the sleeves on? 7ft of swinging face mace.
I would need to be the mountain to clip this into my lat pull down!!!! Thanks for all your support
I have the rep camber bar, no regrets. Great for bench, skull crushers, and seal rows
yeah, that one is SOLID. Really nice touches on it and frankly very well priced against the competition
you forgot the link for the fringesport bar in the description
Let me get that fixed
Fringe bar has one defect: one of the handles has much more aggressive knurling. Bar is sold out rn, so maybe next batch will not have this quirk. Also, the middle brace sticking out at top makes bent over rows a tad uncomfortable as that bit pokes your chest at top of movement, just like Jonathan says with benching. But great, versatile bar, and at $168, good deal anyway.
Yeah I hope they bring the price down to $168 again.
Dude, I heard of kissing the ring, but kissing the bar is a bit much! Fuller lips might be easier with botox J! 😂 That looked painful, my friend, but you handled it like a true pro. Another solid review.
Just a dumb move on my part but glad it didn't have any worse effects. Thanks for all your support
@@NoFate247 these specialty bars scare me man! The best J-cups I’ve found for these is the round sandwich J-cups because they kind of pinch the bar and limit (not eliminate) free rotation. Glad you’re okay!
I think that I'll eventually try the Bells bar (saving up for a rack first). I'm good at math so I'll be alright. 😁 Glad your tooth ended up being unharmed.
Let me know your thoughts about it after you pick it up
I’ve had the kabuki before and now I have the rep version. Just like your lip and teeth I’ll probably always opt for the round bars over the kabuki and fringe style with the hard edges. Mentally for some reason I always caught myself worrying about cracking some part of my head/face on one of those edges
Yeah my lips and teeth are happy to still be in one piece 😂
I have used over a dozen multigrip bars.
The Kabuki and Rogue Cadillac bars were horribly overpriced. Kabuki version had no knurling and was hot garbage.
Fringe Sport swiss bar was ok. But it has thin handles in my opinion. Returned it after 24 hours.
Titan multigrip bars are one of my favorites. Thick handles. Good knurling.
Bells of Steel Nemesis was good for the price. Good angles. But handles were thin and the build quality was very cheap.
Best cambered multigrip bar I have ever owned is from Black Widow Training Gear. It has excellent knurling and thick handles. Angles are excellent and the camber is excellent. I got a custom version with 2" handles which is even better for taking stress off the hands during heavy presses.
Heard great things about the black widow. They are a solid company and I like the owner
Seems like a nice bar to enter the marketplace as competition to Titan, Rep, BoS, etc. for the money I'll take the Rep Bar over all of them though.
I think most people would take the rep bar but this one is a solid option especially if they bring their prices down with sales
Fringe is often off-kilter with their sale pricing. They'll say 25% off on a bumper set, it'll show $400, crossed off to $360, and $270 after discount. Then, next week, the sale is over and it's back to $400.
Right now, they have an awesome Valentine's deal. 25% off pink bumper sets, but 40% off a pink Bumper and Bar WonderWoman combo.
The 260-lb set alone is $1000, marked down to $750. Meanwhile, the 260-lb combo is $1125, discounted to $675. Ummmmm.... Yes, your math is correct, but is it really?
Personally, I got the REP bar last November for 10% off. My shoulder's been thanking me ever since. A couple narrow misses on a fat lip getting up, but a few back of the head TONKs lying down. I keep a pair of rings dangling now over the bench for ease of sliding in and out - most helpful when benching to failure, bar is glued to the straps, grab the rings and wiggle out instead of ooze to the floor.
Their double dip sales are great but their every day prices are ehh
Comprehensive review mate. Aside from u sweet chin music-ing urself 😅 I have an Australian rip off of the kabuki kadillac bar. Must say I don’t enjoy the edges on my chest when pressing as u mentioned. May upgrade to the rep version or the bougie rogue mg-4cn. Just have to sell a kidney to afford it..
Might have to sell two kidneys for the rogue 😂😂😂. How is the knurling on the rip off
@@NoFate247 haha. Damnnnn. non existent. But the powder coat is gritty. I mainly use it for presses so I’m not concerned with grip strength. Don’t do bent over rows or other pulling with it so a non issue for me.
Wish you would have compared the arch nemesis to the fringe in more detail. seeing as they are almost identical. The angles are very important in these bars. I wished you would have talked more about that
Don't need to beat around the bush, the fringe sport bar is better than the arch bar. There's a reason the arch bar goes on sale for $99, it's a very very budget bar that's nearing 4 years old in terms of design and has virtually no knurling. I don't see an upside to the arch bar unless you're really broke or are able to get one of the dozen or so on facebook market place for like $75
Yea knurling is important for this bar. My edge fitness slim fb bar (RIP) has just a textured powder coat on the handles. Anything over 300lb feels a tad sketch.
Yeah, if they can put on passive knurling why can''t companies make it agressive? I don't get it. Which bar you using now?
@@NoFate247 same one. It works well. I just have to make sure I pay attention to gripping
That opening hurt to watch. Great review.
Trust me when I tell you, I wish it never happened. I don't want that kind of content. My lips were swollen for a week
Been using the elitefts American camber for years. The problem is that the powder coat on the sleeves has been all rubbed off.
Why haven't they come up with a newer version? So many companies copied that one and improved it. They've just left it the same but it's been like what 6 years now?
@@NoFate247 like so many other company they just dont invest in. innovations. Rep is probably the only one thats still works on it.
Bro that bar wanted you wacked at the beginning lmao
Hundred percent!!! It was NOT HAPPY!
Just ordered the bells of steel for $150
Great deal!!!! If it used my affiliate link let me know so I can send you a thank you gift Nofate247@gmail.com 🙏
The bar almost cost you a tooth expensive
You ain't kidding, I was amazed I didn't lose or chip a tooth. But I guess it made for a funny moment in the video
Right now I got the cheapest yes4all MultiGrip bar but uh maybe I’ll get the Titan cambered MG.
Also, something kinda weird, the gym I got to is mostly powerlifters and stronman competitors and they have the kabuki MultiGrip and a majority of them don’t like it. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
I think the gym has it because they have an old school westside barbell mentality but legitimately nobody ever uses it. Personally I don’t like how it feels, the “knurling” is close to nonexistent and it feels like the handles could’ve been placed a little better, whether that be angle or spacing Idk. So expensive isn’t always better
I know people swear kabuki is the standard but the "knock offs" have made some great improvements to the design like Knurling" but most people don't want to admit to preferring the cheaper knockoffs
How do you like that yes4all bar?
@@joe112000 honestly don’t see a difference between this and the other options out there. It has a passive knurling like Titan, Olympic sleeves and an even 25lbs. And E.R. kang has a version that has the camber also great price, good quality
Kabuki knockoff, no different than what Titan does to Rogue. Love my Fringe Mil Spec bumpers. Glad your face is OK!
Yeah this might have been the most expensive video I ever made if it wasn't. Thanks for being here and agreed that most of them are knock offs. But at least their copying from the best
@@NoFate247 Yes sirrr, 10AM Saturday is must see TV! Don't get me wrong, they are going to sell a TON. Just glad you are giving people the real deal info on the fit and finish is not the same level as Kabuki.
That’s an insane deal you got. There’s really no reason to get any of the other bars, including the REP and Kadillac Bars with this, sale or not. I have the Kadillac and had the REP for a few weeks. The Kadillac blows the REP out of the water and the Fringe Sport bar is the best copycat of the Kadillac.
Yeah at that price it's a no brainer!!!
Did you lose any teef?
Remarkable no thank the lord. Not quite ready for vineers
