If you like brutal rugby check out the second test between the British&Irish Lions and the Springboks at Loftus in 2009..5 Lion players left the stadium in ambulances
Rugby players are some bad dudes man. Incredible strength, endurance, agility, and outright brutal ferocity. These guys probably watch American NFL football and be like; Awe that's cute, they're wearing helmets and pads and get to take a break after every down.
These commentators are so much better than our British ones who are obsessed with being impartial to the point they are unexcited and generally hate the English side. These guys seem happy for both sides, which is great.
From memory Chabal had to go into second row that game? As soon as that happened I knew we would win. He couldn’t hold up an international scrum. Great player in the loose! And ferocious !
Considering England got hammered by the Boks in the Pool game it was an amazing turnaround, to end up in the final against - yes against the Boks again. (36-0). This match (semi) was part of that journey. I went to both Bok games, the final in a mates light aircraft from Lydd airport. The French ferry people were on strike so we got there any way we could. Not sure England will win in Paris in this world cup (2023) - but you never know when it comes to the French!
Although this France team was better on paper but with the English fighting for every inch and taking the massive risks they ultimately won the game. hoping this can be replicated again.
Union is an amusing sport to watch. Their athletes are so sub par. Most wouldn't even make a QCup team. League is so far ahead in terms of skill and physicality. Kickby Yawnion - no thanks.

Have u ever seen the likes of that pass at 2:41? Completely outrageous!!!!!
I am a South African, this was a game that was played with hearts of steel . Amazing two teams were prepared to give it all .
once Sébastien Chabal came on, you knew it was a clash for the ages.
This is the closest thing to medieval battles 🔥🔥🔥
2023 the tmo would have most of them off
That was one of the most brutal games I'd ever seen. Great game by both sides. 👍🏻

What an absolute battle. I forgot how quick and agile Robinsons, bloke had some serious speed.
Violence aside, this was an incredible match of Rugby.

that little pat on the head by Lewsey after the first try is gold
The 2011 RWC game was even more brutal. I remember the white english jerseys turning red because of the blood.
Back when rugby was great.
12 year-old me was heartbroken. Some serious commitment in contacts was displayed that night
I was 13 in the 2011 semifinal, broke my heart too 🤣
videos like this make you realise why head injury laws were brought into the game

Wilkinson, the ultimate match winner and the GOAT.

This match was AMAZING
That’s rugby!!! Imagine how long and delayed with TMO timeouts that match would be today? I saw at least two potential reds by today’s laws 😂
You can literally hear impacts of each tackle
Keep it up mate
Cheers! Been a fan of yours since way back

The English should never be underestimated. Ferocious in any battle
Amazing game! Good old jonny Wilkinson
C'est une défaite !
So many penalties by today's standards lol
Argentina really came into being in this world cup.
the day betsen ended wilkinson's career.
Mostly wouldn’t be legal now - but Wilko used it hit like a freight train for a 10
Piece of music ?
Wilkinson has quite the leg on him... I wonder if he scored any other drop goals in this tournament.
epic game.
Great game played before the RFU turned the greatest team sport into a game for Little Girls 👧
Wayne Barnes won for England in the previous France game and then England took the easier game and scraped it out
If you rub some cheese on the ball then the frogs would never pass it.

England would crush these smelly frogs anyday
