Steve Austin's Shocking Truth - Heartbreak & Tragedy Mini-Series
As Steve honed his skills in Texas, he ventured to Memphis, joining the United States Wrestling A
Association (USWA). It was there that he crossed paths with Dutch Mantell, a booker who recognized his potential. In need of a new name, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams being a well-known figure at the time, Dutch spontaneously dubbed him Steve Austin-a name destined for greatness. Despite initial hesitations, Austin embraced the moniker, paving the way for his meteoric rise in the wrestling world.
The Shocking Truth on How Steve Austin Ended Up in WCW
The weight of his predicament became even more evident when he found himself standing opposite The Undertaker, a rising star destined for future induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Yet, despite the daunting challenges and countless hours of practice, Steve's indomitable spirit paid off. His lifelong struggle with hearing issues had honed his instincts, transforming him into a true master of the ring even before reaching the zenith of his career.
As he continued to excel in the ring, he came closer to winning the prestigious Rookie of the Year award. Then, after receiving a crucial call, he embarked on a journey back to where it all started-Dallas, Texas-for a heated feud with his former teacher, Chris Adams. Their rivalry would take the wrestling world by storm, earning them "feud of the year" honors.
Upon his return to Texas, Austin found himself entangled in a fateful feud orchestrated by Chris Adams, a prominent British wrestler who had made a name for himself in the Texas wrestling scene. What began as a teacher versus student rivalry quickly escalated into something extraordinary. Adams, known for his innovative storytelling, had an audacious plan in mind, intertwining personal relationships and igniting scandalous drama.

It's at 996 after more than a month.
How bout 1k likes and we get part 2?
@ringuntold i mean you really had to ask that question? I feel the answer is a very obvious YES
Nobody had a better eye for talent then Jerry Jarrett. Rock, Austin, Taker etc. , this guy saw money in all of them
Man! You had me on the edge of my seat, great work 👍
Thank You bro! Stay tuned! More like this coming in a few days!
@@brokenkayfabe will do brother 👍
Makes the what chant less annoying
Please continue this story great video
Thank you! Will do!
great work!
Thanks a lot bro
Man maybe it's just my age and generation, but Stone Cold Steve Austin will forever and always be #1 greatest of all time! Dudes attitude in the ring gave me a sense of confidence and a way to want to carry my self. He was and is one BMF and forever Austin 3:16!
Hell yeah!
Now it makes perfect sense on why austin started the WHAT chant
Damn that’s crazy
What.... Came from Christian
WHAT!?!
Never trust a documentary from wwe it's always hide a truth @DeanMoxley87
@@DeanMoxley87 was austins idea while he was talking on christians voice mail.
Are you gomna do a part two for ecw and wcw?
depends how people respond to this
@@brokenkayfabeyooo do ecw and wcw
Just found your channel. It’s great!
Thank you! I really appreciate it.
This is awesome! I'm subscribing!
Thank you! More coming!
I've seen so many documentaries on Austin... great video..👏👏
Glad you enjoyed!
I bet you wouldn't mind getting "stunned" by ol Austin. If you know what I mean.
Really enjoyed this video. I have seen a couple of pieces on Stone Cold, but this one was well put together. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! hope to provide, more value for you in the future!
This mid-carder is the shitz
7:51 that explains the What chant.
This was cool man!
thank you my firend!
Austin's career/story imo is the best trajectory of all time. It's just an absolute amazing rise in the business despite all the obstacles.
0:47 yeah Eric bischoff ate those words lmao
He sure did! Lolo
Eric Bischoff seems to have finally grown up a bit. It’s hard to tell
@@marilynsgirl01 no hes still the worst. lol
@@brokenkayfabe I don’t think you’re wrong. I despised him and his dead cat hair when I was little
Owen Hart was a reckless prick in the ring....After nearly paralyzing Austin, Owen would do the same thing to Dan Severn. No excuse for it.
RIP Owen Hart I'm surprised at him he should have known better
Great job bro!
Thanks so much!
From 1994-2004
Steve Austin was the man!
Great video, can't wait to see part 2, 3 maybe more, but something is wrong with audio. It's loud, then silent, then again loud etc. Beside that it's great.
Crap. Its hard to tell when converting multiple vids on different platforms. Thanks for letting me know.
Great doc! I thought I had heard everything about Steve's career, till now. I was not aware he had a hearing issue since birth and how that he struggled in the ring to hear. He had to become a heel to survive cause heels called the action in ring during the match back then. Great info that just adds to his story. I will be subscribing after watching this doc. Part 2 please!!!
Thank you so much! Stay tuned more like this coming!
This is some good shit
Thanks bro!
Cool watching the growth over the years. I bet no one knew what he was going to become and do for the business in the future 🚀
Great work well put together video
Thank you! 😊
I farted while watching this.
You rocked this def earned a new sub will eagerly wait for part 2🫡
thank you my friend
what did i just watch lol
Steve austin doc. Hope you enjoyed
Lol in the beginning of the video look at Ken Shamrock, he looks like Brock Lesnar, same juice
lol true
yo this is dope!!!!!
thank you brotha
I loved the stun gun as a finisher
Is that Paul Bearer?😂
im glad he cut his hair lol
He tried as long as he could.
Got damn son , that’s a lot of heat lol
Surely Austin knew on his debut it was a work. I mean they must have said you're going over/winning with a pin in the booking. I'm not sure how you wouldn't figure it out.
The finish could be a gimmick without the "moves" being fake 🤷 that's what he thought. Because where he first trained, guys would REALLY hit eachother during matches. It HAD TO look as real as possible back then.. there's tons of story's of wrestlers just beating the hell out of eachother.
This was great to watch but what confuses me is that on the peacock app there's a wwe legends biography on his career where he says it was him that filed for divorce from Jeannie Clarke but in this video hes saying she called saying she wanted a divorce.
*Hate to say it as I was a fan of Owen Hart's but he was a coward & didn't learn a damned thing after almost crippling WWF's biggest draw, he never visited Austin nor did he call him after cutting his career short. He legit did the same thing to Dan Severn via a Piledriver, was supposed to be "kayfabe" but he nearly repeated the same mistake again for real on Severn, so much so that Severn let him know backstage.*
There has never been a wrestler/valet vs wrestler/valet with hotter women too me. Hyatt vs Dark Journey was good. Precious vs Sunshine was awesome. But Toni and Jeannie do it for me
Running a pro wrestling school and not telling students it's collaborative is some choice. Adams commercialized that super thrust kick thing, other than maybe some Asian wrestlers earlier.
dope
You should do an iceberg into Owen Hart's death, I think there was foul play. your content is making me think. This is good stuff.
check my latest video on the rock/mcmahon situation...let me know what you think and ill put you request on my list :)
I will on that video, thank you
It's was for sure Foul Play
Well, that ended abruptly. Otherwise, good video.
Hah thanks man! Gotta leave em wanting more! More coming this week!
Austin’s voice was so different before wwf/wwe 🤔
It’s called getting old lol
Calling it now, just like Hogan is hated these days, same as people are turning on rock.. over exposure and cancelled culture.. give it time . Austins next.
What about Stunning Steve Austin?
What?
1:27 “Professional wrestling was real back then.”
What? Anyone ever see a Pit Fight from back in the day? That’s real. Professional wrestling has never been real-you can’t bet on it. Never could-it’s fake. They are athletes and they put their bodies on the line like all athletes, but, it’s choreographed and the winner is decided before hand. Technically, fake.
On the younger wrestlers and commentators this is how it is done.
Love Corny
He's the best
We need a part 2 wcw to wwf
2:12 C-Clamp to the skull...
Your *_OWN_* skull 😂
Haha glad you caught that! I had to fit that in
Was that Debra?
no it was his first wife, jeanie clarke
this was good as fuck wow
Thank you so much!
I don’t believe he entered wrestling and thought it was still real in his first match. Come on
It was much more guarded back then. Many kids also thought it was real.
@@brokenkayfabe I mean when he stepped in to the ring for his first match
@@Black-Circle I think that’s why steve never really talks about chris adams. He never really thanks him or anything.
Is this from steve austin bottom line ?
Some clips might be. I used many diffrerent sources but I had zero directly from his wwe dvd
wheres the end of it o.o
still working on it
I see he has a fake accent
Prob just changed over time..this was over 30 years ago
When is part 2?
week or so... im working on a video similar in style but on cody
They got married on my 10th bday
Nice!
Did you delete all your main event mike videos?
Privated. Im not gonna let youtube make money off them if I cant. Lol
What?
@@brokenkayfabeyeah you're totally right not too RUclips has too much 💰 f*** them
@@brokenkayfabeyou're totally right not too RUclips has too much money f*** them
You make a 16 minute video and don't even speak about everything of Austin's career.
Sorry
Because its been told many times this , alot of people have not even heard of so just appreciate it mark
Because its about the traumatic side…not the actual career itself 🤡
Want to see Austin in the Bloodline storyline as Cody's backup and as the one guy The Rock truly fears. Would make for a great WrestleMania moment possibly next year. Sign Sting and give him a final match against Undertaker too. No offence, but that last AEW match of his was garbage. Vince botched the booking before but Triple H would likely make an amends by making it meaningful.
Steve killed owen
How in God's name can you even think to come to that conclusion??
Woman Beater!
Some of them need it.
Early 90s Steve sounds so different he sound like a generic wrestler
Wild..his wwe run was short but amazing.
Stunning Steve was a midcarder. Idk if he even got close to the Wcw championship. Lol
Lmao the random cut aways to arn getting pissed on.
I had to fit that in somewhere lol
Damn, your doc gave me motion sickness brah 🫨🤪, good effort but editing needs improvement 🙈, thanks
