I bought a pair of the Summit Sk8 in orange with the Atomic M11 bindings this past winter and I freaking love them. I use them for my rounds at work checking on lifts. Its really easy to take them off, do whatever at the lift shack, click them on, and go. No cumbersome poles needed.

    Thank you for the demo!
Also, I learned to ski on that mountain. So nostalgic...

Awesome video! Best I’ve seen in the SBC in a minute! They look perfect for you on west coast conditions with the extra length. On the ice coast I stick to 105cm Revolts and shorter after 15 years on 98cm MNPs. With your background you’d be a ninja on some 88-105cm boards!

Looking great on those! Super smooth. They really look like the perfect balance between the skate and ski feel.

Thanks for the video. Did you go into the glades with them? If so, how did they perform? Have you tried any other skiboards? I am interested in buying skiboards for this coming season especially for the glades. I have skied for the past few years and feel very comfortable on most runs including many black diamonds on regular carving skis in the 167-180 cm length. Yet I am thinking that skiboards would drastically help me in the glades where my other skis are too long to turn sideways for control.

They are amazing in the glades! I have been on the Summit Carbon 99, Grovn 106, Bamboo 110, and the Invertigo 118. I would recomend the Grovn 106 or Invertigo 118 for glades because of the early rise making for a shorter turning radius. The both still hold up very well under speed and groomers too!

@@ThirtyandRollin, thank for responding. I see that the GrovN 106 is not as wide underfoot as the Invertigo. So I guess there is a trade off between those 2 as I am debating between them. It seems like the GrovN 106 would be able to make quicker turns in the glades than the Invertigo 118s. But I am guessing that the Invertigo 118s would do better in the powder and slush.

@@mattandbethboughan3 Exactly right. Just depends which condition you ski more of. But if it makes you feel better, you can't go wrong with either. I was on both in one day and could barely tell the difference. Full camber boards vs early rise boards make more of a difference than the difference in the 99-118 length range IMO.

Where can I get them and what are the length of the skis? Is it the same as skis or specialty skis?

The skis I am using on this video are 118cm. You can get them here... summitskiboards.com/aff/1
