Dimash enrolled in music college at 5 yrs old. His vocal cords have received intense training for 20 yrs. He holds master's degrees in many different types of music. He is considered to be the best vocalist in the world and a master performance. He sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. He is an exceptional singer and excels in martial arts. His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known singer. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. A estas alturas, y a pesar de no haber visto más que la punta del iceberg Dimash, ya os habéis debido de dar cuenta de que es uno de los mejores cantantes de la historia. Para hacer un Dimash se necesitan un tenor, un barítono, un bajo, una soprano lírica, y alguien capaz de reproducir tonos de silbido. Pero además todos ellos tienen que ser de primer nivel y ser lo suficientemente flexibles como para interpretar desde ópera hasta rap. No sé vosotras, pero yo no conozco a nadie que como él juegue en esa liga. Además, es el más claro ejemplo de lo que es una tormenta perfecta. Nacido en una familia de cantantes, compositores y autoridades musicales. En su infancia, sus juguetes más preciados eran los radiocasetes y las cintas de música con las que se iba a la cama y no permitía que nadie se las quitara. You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion, "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Ave Maria" 2021. Each performance will leave you stunned.

This was over five years ago, you should hear him today! He has over 7 octaves, his Base/Baritone registers are just as beautiful as his higher registers. Dimash is THE greatest vocalist/performer of ALL time. He’s great at dancing and acting too! Dimash sings in all genres and in 13 languages, he sings a lot in English.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Dimash started vocal/music training at the age of 5. He is 22 in this video and is currently 27. Vocal coaches have explained his ability this way: Dimash had a very high voice as a youngster and then hit puberty and his lower range came in. Because he was coached through puberty he was able to maintain his higher registers as well. Add to that the fact that Dimash is still in training and practices a minimum of 3 hours per day. He is constantly pushing the boundaries of his vocals to see what else he is capable of. I've been following him for 5+ years he he simply keeps getting better. Thank you !!

👉 This was a historic moment and is Dimash’s calling card. That is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (That is what Dimash calls us fans.
The best comment from a Dear under the first video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 That one moment when a vblogger first hears Dimash and is instantly mesmerized by it... priceless and beautiful to watch. I love it!
That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to RUclips ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).

Not a reality show at all, but a Chinese state competition for proffessional well established Chinese singers. Dimash was invited to take part by the organisors who had heard him sing elsewhere. Dimash was the 1st foreigner to be allowed to take part. At this point he had no Chinese or English and was away from home for the 1st time. He came 2nd, I do not believe he cud hve been given 1st place as a foreigner. The Chinese audience and indeed the other professional Chinese competitors loved him. So much so that anyone outside of China became aware of Dimash because the Chinese spread the word of his amazing talent and humble personality. The audience , all involved in the world of music were the judges. They decided who went thru from one round to the next.
Dimash was about 21/22 here. This year 2022 he was 28 this may.

If you follow his path on this show, "The Singer," he went from French to Russian to English ("The Show Must Go On") to his first attempt at Chinese, which blew the audience away. He really is the greatest vocalist ever to draw breath!
This was his 'breakout' performance from 'I Am Singer' 2017. Opera 2 is his next performance in the show, if you follow on from there and watch all his performances chronologically you will see his growth to today. You won't be sorry as he has so many wonderful songs, this is a mere tip of the iceberg, he is so much better than this.

U haven't seen his performances of ave Maria & diva dance yet. That was unhuman note that he did in those songs. Even female singers can't do better than him.
First off, I loved both of your reactions. Dimash is a miracle, and I’m so glad I’ve lived long enough to hear him. Second, I love, love, love South Africa. I have family in Joburg and Cape Town, my wife and I went there on our honeymoon. We went to private game reserves for Safari, and spent time on the beach at Cape Town. You have the most beautiful scenery on earth, incredible restaurants (and I’m a native New Yorker saying this lol), Stellenbosch gardens are enchanting, and although I got into a fight with a Zulu (he was drunk at the time) gentleman who was hitting on my bride, at the beach in Durban, and it took me a while to get used to driving on the left, I have only fond memories. Love your accents. As for this competition, Dimash is the youngest performer at 22, he is the first one to come onstage, and this is the first time anyone there ever heard him. The competition backstage came to love him and even though the audience and the competitors felt that Dimash won, he only got 2nd place due to a rule that only a Chinese National could win. They later changed this stupid rule.
