- Sorry about the audio the event was kind of loud
The famous residence of Siegfried and Roy known as the Jungle Palace was bought by new owners a few months ago. Since then they have renovated the property and brought it back to it's original form. Today the neighborhood was invited for a BBQ/Open House to check out the property. Future plans are to convert it into an event space for parties. Super excited to see whats inside, lets check it out!

I wish to thank you for the beautiful video I never got the chance to see them but there home is so beautiful there both in heaven together rest in peace Siegfried and Roy
Thanks for watching!
I am so happy this was saved, although I don't think that's what Siegfried wanted. I worked their show at the Stardust and while I have my own set of stories, they are still very much missed, RIP. I live in Oregon now and some of the cats are up here in a sanctuary that is not accessible to the public.
Awesome experience and thankful for the invite.
This is so cool to see where they lived and what their lives were like. I saw them once while in Vegas for a wedding. An amazing show and the cats were so majestic.
Thanks for watching!
It was so awesome to see that the big cats were treated like kings. God Bless S&R.
They had a piece of the jungle in their backyard
I was always glad that Roy passed away fairly soon after Siegfried.
I hope they are together again
If you don't shed a tear when you see Roy hugging his white tiger, you are not human.
He loved those Tigers like they were his children
Thank you for filming this! It’s really amazing to see inside! Really appreciate what you did by filming this, any updates?
Thanks for watching! Honestly haven't seen much activity since this event, not sure what's going on over there.
@@Stuffandus thank you, looking forward to updates on your channel.
I have loved Siegfried and Roy since the first time I saw them and I am very glad that you had the chance to see their home before there is too much change.
It was so beautiful!
I past by this mansion a lot.I had a friend who lived down the block.i lived in vegas
Thank you so very much for sharing this video, so way cool.👌🏼😉
Thanks for watching!
Thank You so much for sharing this with us. I always wondered what became of their property.
You're very welcome, thanks for watching!
I loved this video I always wanted to see them perform I hope you do another video there ...thank you !
Thanks for watching!
Gay men especially in the entertainment industry have a tendency to be over the top! Elton John, Freddie Mercury, and Lee Liberace come to mind right away! These men met on a cruise ship as entertainers and grew a brand! What an amazing couple they were.
Funny you mention Liberace. In the movie 'Behind the Candelabra' they actually use this house as Liberace's house, lol.
A couple with the sense enough to have separate bedrooms
I used to live on valley drive up from there. Kids walked by there every day going to school.
That's so cool, so many great memories!
Thanks for the video. Great stuff. I can't wait to go on a tour.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you I really enjoyed the tour
Thanks for watching!
They decently had the best security system. Who would be dumb enough to break in with house that has actual tigers roaming around.
OMG If MY room was to be toured, bring Lysol !!
😂😂😂😂
My wife grew up on that street at 1701 Valley Drive.
That's awesome, that house just sold recently
I loved S and R. but all I'm seeing are enclosures for endangered animals. Thank you for the video.
What would u suggest? Living in captivity is the only option for white tigers. They’d never survive in the wild
I remember it from the 80s.. My grandma lived close to it
That's awesome! Where did your Grandma live?
Thanks for the great video. It's awesome to be able to see inside this place. Disappointed in the animal enclosures though. Very boring, empty looking, hard cement block enclosures. The animals who once were housed there must have been very uncomfortable and bored in such stark, unnatural surroundings. Kinda expected better from Siegfried and Roy. Cool house and grounds though.
Thanks for watching!
The animals were moved long ago to one of the hotels on the strip... when the animals actually lived there... they had the best of everything... but, no need to have the goodies there with no animals. They made the enclosures out of concrete in order to keep them clean. Zeigfried and Roy gave everything to those animals.
Anthropomorphism at its best
@@tcolley Ridiculous. Animals like tigers, lions, and elephants need natural environments in which to thrive. Without them, they are merely existing and are shadows of their true selves. And yes, animals CAN get bored and uncomfortable just like we can. If you think otherwise, you clearly don't know much about animals.
@@Kiwi91663 My understanding is that they always kept some at their home, until Roy got injured. At any rate. A concrete enclosure is NO place for an animal. I don't care how easy or convenient it is to clean.

Rad
So rad!
So the property was saved?
Not only were they able to save the property but they were also able to recover all the furniture and decor pieces they had when they were living there.
@@Stuffandus that’s great news! The property could make a great museum
@@jamesaragonastudio6476 I believe that's part of the plan. I think it's going to be 1/2 museum and 1/2 event space, should be really cool!
Great informative video thank you so much.
Amazing 🤩 place need its own zip code
Definitely a unique property!
An event center in a residential neighborhood, no thanks
Hasn't been a problem yet, but only time will tell
