Very interested to hear your guys thoughts on this story. I can say that this is unlike ANYTHING you have ever seen before, both narratively and character-wise. It'll be cool to see two guys still new to anime go head first into this completely batshit crazy insane story. Like seriously, the dude who created this manga is actually insane... and its amazing.

I don't have a lot to say though, just that every episode has a different outro song and visuals so keep watching to the end so you don't miss those (though episode 1 only had the song and a black screen) Besides that, I hope you enjoy this series, it's great!
Kinda funny seeing the comparison between people who've are anime veterans and you guys who are fairly new to anime. The veterans don't question and blink at the concept of the show and you guys are like what the fuck 👁️👄👁️
10:09 "How ridiculous that is" is the perfect line to describe anime. It's the type of shit that would look so stupid in real life, but it looks so cool in Anime.
The point about his healing factor taking away the stakes was interesting. I feel like it's different from Wolverine because Denji requires blood to heal atleast.
That doesn't really matter on this show to be honest. The stakes are usually a lot more emotional or metaphorical rather than physical, and regeneration doesn't help with that. Not to mention, other characters might not have a healing factor.
I know this is a month old but Denji was working for the Yakuza what the old guy was saying is that a normal Devil Hunter wouldn’t give the bodies of the devils to the Yakuza
Yes, the guy Denji was in debt to was a low-level yakuza trying to get more power. He was being chauffeured around in a fucking 1987 Volkswagon Rabbit, for fuck's sake! Pretty low-rent for a yakuza. He was saying he liked Denji as a demon hunter because regular demon hunters didn't turn over the devil corpses to the yakuza so they could sell them on the black market. Denji did.
Yo wtf about moral conflict! These guys missed the whole section of dialogue explaining how the zombies are Eldians like Denji and he's slaughtering his own ppl. REEEEEE
