HE GOT A SCHOLARSHIP AT WEST POINT! OH MY GOD
He called him his son with no effort. It just came out. That’s beautiful.
“One day we’ll be working for our own son.” Brought tears to my eyes, not adopted son, not foster son, “our own son.” We need more people like this.
“If you want to know the true integrity of a man, watch how he treats people that can absolutely do nothing for him.”
"One day I will be working for my own son". Not even two years and he calls him his son. You are awesome dude.
ok but the way he treats his little sisters honestly warms my heart
When he called him his "son", someone definitely started cutting onions by me
“He’s doing a family tree changer “ that hit me in my feels.
The coach's wife could be a supermodel.
“We’ll probably be working for our own son!” Damn could you imagine a world like these people are living. If only!!!
Just shows how some people are just held back by the "system" or their circumstances. When he was getting bad grades, he was never dumb. Just no ideal situation to allow him to thrive. When he found stability, he became the best version of himself.
As a very disadvantaged child and a now 19 year old working his hardest to get into a good university this is not only an extremely beautiful but extremely motivating story.
This couple made a huge difference into this boy's life.
For those wondering, I did a little research involving the sister. She was a senior when this all went down, and from what I gathered, she ended up moving into a place with a roommate, so I think she's doing alright.
Wow that’s depressing. He said when he had someone care for him, it made him want to do better. It’s so sad that that’s all it takes to improve a life.
"when I had someone carrying for me it made me to better in school"
h-he called him their son. :')
I love how the coach’s wife supported the decision to bring the player into their home. She trusted him with her own kids. This is a family of faith lead by the Holy Spirit of God
He plays in NCAA college for Army. Since that's a running program they moved him to Running Back. Kid turned out real well and this family helped him alot.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this. My heart is full each and every time. This is humanity and love in action at its finest.
