Debbie here...thank you for the info....in Wa, we have a beach called Glass beach..after watching you, I found my sea glass and got her all washed up....gathering my materials and soaking up inspiration from you.....your work is stunning
3rd advantage of resin is that you put your pieces down first then pour the resin. Super easy. If you want to keep the frostyness put the resin down first then put the pieces on top.
I may have to break down and give it a try. Does the sea glass sink into the resin? Also I did have a resin piece given to me as a gift once - very beautiful but it turned yellow over time, dried up, and fell off. Have you had that happen?
@@SeaGlassArtbyJackie the glass will not sink if you put a light coating on. I have on piece that broke but the glass was vintage and a rock hit it in a storm. Now the resin is peeling away
Glad I can get so much help with my creations through your channel! Now it doesn't seem so overwhelming to start making beautiful things! Have a terrific weekend Jackie. :)
I’ve never used liquid glass so can’t comment on that. I don’t use grout. I don’t like to cover the sea glass because you lose the frostiness so I don’t put anything on top. Just attach with silicone on the bottom.
Unfortunately I have a lovely craft that was gifted to me that has resin on it and it did yellow. It was a piece that hung in a window. I love it and it’s so disappointing. I have never used resin myself.
Thank you. You do beautiful work. I appreciate all of your guidance and instructions. You inspire me in so many ways.
Thanks so much. Your positive comments help to encourage me.
That's such a nice thing to say to an artist. I would have to agree with your statement. Her work is beautiful.

very nice work and original, I hope the glass base is unbreakable glass, because it would be a pity to fall and dissolve
It is breakable! This heartbreaking scenario has occurred times. Only once was it beyond repair. Thanks for your nice comments
Can I use Liquid Glass on top of glass mosaic? Can I just brush it on? Do I need grout?
