I miss such stylistic and dramatic movies like Om Shanti Om. The lighting is perfect, Shahrukh Khan appearing out of nowhere behind actresses, him kissing Karishma Kapoors hands but the hands are filmed so aligned that it looks like he's kissing both hands, or him entering (ie coming on screen) out of nowhere behind the dancers in the opening scene of the Dard e disco song, (and Im sure there are going to be many such artistic and stylistic moments/shots throughout the film.). If this isnt art then what is. Not everyone can make such type of films and shoot such type of shots/scenes. This is also a form of art but a lot of the time its looked down upon by people who only consider 'realistic' cinema/movies as only art or good movies. Entertainment (/masala) or comedy genre looks (ie they all look) non-artistic to them. There are different genre of movies and on needs to understand that. No everyone can make a Singham or Om Shanti Om goddammit. Anurag kashyap cant make an om shanti om or singham and farah khan cant make a gangs of wasseypur, its as simple as that. Art is anything that the rest of the world cant do and hence om shanti om or singham are artistic too, coz as I said not everyone can make such artistic or cool looking (cool looking action scenes in case of Singham) movies. And again, I SO miss such 'artistic and 'dramatic movies (where like as you can see light changes when a villain comes like in this song and has such dramatic and artistic touch(/color) to the whole film. (Edit 2: or dramatic looks (/expressions/acting) of actors - like as you said during their mexican stand off lol. Or stuff like wind blowing on hair in so many dances and I guess (assume tbh as I dont recall any such scene on top of my head rn) prolly there must be some scenes too in om shanti om or any other Bollywood movie in which wind is blowing in hair., etc all such (dramatic and artistic) stuff of a typical "bollywood" genre movie.).)' But it should be noted that important to execute properly all these things and know when (ie in which scenes) to put things and when not. Its like how in comedy genre there can be a good comedy movie with quality and funny jokes and then there can be a movie which isnt funny at all or/and is cringy. Best example of this case is welcome 1 and 2. Welcome 1 is epic and have literally become a classic in todays time with so many memes from it and welcome 2 is literal torture. Or dhamaal is a very funny film but all its next parts are very bad and its last part is also torture level - its in the same league as Welcome back. But no movie has made me feel the (literal) torture that I feel when I watch welcome back. Or how golmaal 1,2,3 are good (I absolutely love the 3), but golmaal 4 is shitty af (golmaal 4 is nothing but jokes repeated from 1,2 and 3 but in a bad (and unfunny af) way(/manner). So many jokes are repeated in 4 that Ive been always saying every since I watched it (like from the theater itself) that its not golmaal 1, 2,3, 4 but its golmaal 1,2,3 and then golmaal 1+2+3.)

Or dhamaal is a very funny film but all its next parts are very bad and its last part is also torture level - its in the same league as Welcome back. But no movie has made me feel the (literal) torture that I feel when I watch welcome back. Or how golmaal 1,2,3 are good (I absolutely love the 3), but golmaal 4 is shitty af (golmaal 4 is nothing but jokes repeated from 1,2 and 3 but in a bad (and unfunny af) way(/manner). So many jokes are repeated in 4 that Ive been always saying every since I watched it (like from the theater itself) that its not golmaal 1, 2,3, 4 but its golmaal 1,2,3 and then golmaal 1+2+3.)
