Do please get a series 3000 cpu before getting this CPU because it may not include the bios update.
Why are you updating the bios? I thought it can run a 5xxx CPU out of the box? Now I'm confused and afraid to buy one online 😢

I am planing to pair this mother board with and rtx 3060 and ryzen 5 5500, but i saw some reviews that said that the motherboard doesn't recognise the CPU because the BIOS is and older version, so in order to enter and install windows you need and older ryzen 5, now after you install the whole setup with the older version, you can swap back to the 5500. Is this true because i aint getting another processor just to set up my BIOS

Ryzen 9 but you'll have to worry about VRMs overheating cause that CPU draws a lot of power. You're better off with a 5600g.
