I like how you did all the checks- the gas pressure check was pretty interesting. I have a tempstar furnace in my attic that is six years old. One night it messed up by running the fan all night long, but not getting up to temperature. It kicked out a code so I cleaned the flame sensor and that helped but now it kicks out a code for blocked vent, flame blo out etc. They told me I had possibly a bad high temperature limit switch but I saw online where someone else had the exact same problem as me and replacing the high temperature switch didn't fix the problem. My return is in the ceiling and the professionals came today and told me it has restricted air flow - not enough vents or high temperature limit switch. It's been running fine these six years but maybe it has a problem.
Great job..... we have several of same series RTU. We have had a few VFD issues were the drive forgets who it is.. lol the tech line is super good. Run through all parameters and haven’t had any more issues... be safe
Sometimes if the screen is showing FAN ONLY and the thermostat is calling for HEATING, the OAT (outside air temperature sensor is reading an unrealistically high temperature (i.e.: 145°F). You can scroll down in the STATUS menu and read all the temperature sensors or ohm them out. If the symptoms are intermittent, water may be getting into the sensor's wiring connectors.
*Yeah! We r wondering same. Where is the limit switch? What is part number? The Lennox Booklet is silent about all parts & electrical wiring. My wife is Physicsist & ready to help. But, I have no tools. I need to buy!*
@@jordansaudi1324 oh you can get the part from any supplier depending on your region (mine was a Noble) but my real problem is the limit switch not being on top of the burner compartment like his is and I’ve compared both RTU’s and they have the exact same specs but keep in mind the unit I’m working on is very old and has not been serviced in a little less than a decade
Good video, is there a way to reset the board itself without shutting down the unit, which would be the right process to reset it? I usually just turn off my breaker to reset it.
@@HughesManHVAC Thank you for your reply, I had a shut down due to limit switch Failure on the control board. Checked all my safety switches including limit switch but After I reset it. Unit work for about 30 minutes and then swift from cooling, idle to “fan only” and status light start blinking red and it shows a “Supply air temp cooling Excessive”. Thermostat never goes down. Any Idea? Thanks
i have the exact unit doing same exact issues with the one board normal heart beat but other board fan only limit issue and cannot find the problem the customer said it's doing it in summertime too and after he resets it it runs again any thoughts on what's wrong
i did something dumb, .. i changed my thermostat and nothing worked except the main large fan always runs no matter under what setting it is.. i put back the old thermostat but it still does the same thing... the green light on the gas valve gives me an code of- "limit circut fault"

I would listen to your hvac contractor, thanks for the comment

Great Job. Great Work. Great Video. Great Man 💯❤🔥
Thanks 🔥
These are great! Helps me get an idea of what to look for or give me another way of thinking through troubleshooting
Thanks brother!
Hi, I really appreciate what you r doing and the way you explain it.
Thank you
Thanks for watching
My pleasure
I only had a little tartar the terminals of my limit, thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching
I like the new intro. Cool tool bag as well.
Thanks 👍
I like those York units not crazy about the new control boards just got to get used to them
Yes, they do take a bit of getting use to
Somebody assumed more filters was a better idea, but wouldn't the restricted draw of air flow cause the limit switch to fault?
Very good and very Thorough. I enjoyed the video. Thank you and cheers!!
I appreciate it
great video, def like how you explained everything.
We have a York at one of our stores as well. VFD is a problem at random in the cool mode....
That sucks, thanks for watching
I'm a fan of the Fluke 324/325 meters too. I like the smaller size compared to the 902. Good troubleshooting. Good video also
Thanks 👍 I appreciate it
I did cut a little off of the shroud on the test leads so they go in farther and don't come out so easily.
I bet they used the old filters to keep the new ones upright. Instead of using the little filter bar.. 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks for watching

Good to know, thank you!
Thank you hey Mikey and huesman
Awesome video keep them coing
Thanks! Will do!
Great video bud, just wanted to see where was that hight limit switch located

Glad it was helpful!
York, been having similar issues on some of my accounts
Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thank you Andy
Good video 👍
Thank you Jeff! I appreciate it.

You could pull the 24v wire that powers it but it just as easy to just pull the disconnect for me

I’d have to go back and watch this video again to remember what it’s about.
can u tell us about tools u use
I will make a tool video soon man! Thanks for watching and stay tuned for that vid!

there are multiple limits on this unit. i believe a high limit by the heat exchanger, a limit in the blower compartment and maybe a rollout.
Wow
Thanks for watching
