  • This was from the New York City show, Coldplay's first tour date on their 2016 stadium tour's American leg. MetLife Stadium hosted Super Bowl XLVIII, the first Super Bowl held in the New York metropolitan area and it was won by the Seattle Seahawks on February 2, 2014. At $1.6 billion, MetLife Stadium is the most expensive stadium in the world and was the largest NFL stadium by capacity at 82,566. It is home to both NFL teams the New York Jets (AFC) and the New York Giants (NFC) so the stadium has an awesome neutral color theme, like gray and black, to accommodate fans of either team and the field's end zones have to be swapped for each team's game. That means that during a season it could make twice the revenue from fans of two different teams.

Thanks. I recorded the set because it's significant for American Foxes fans like myself to be fortunate enough to see her play for the USA which is not very often.

I saw her at the Gillette stadium and have been a HUGE fan of her for a couple years now! When I found out a week prior to the show that she was opening for Coldplay I was absolutely excited!! I always wanted to see her, and Coldplay was excellent too, but wow it made the entire show that much more special to me!

Wow you must be a CT or something and tracking my activities because I have a freakishly similar story. I found out a month prior she was opening up for Coldplay at MetLife in Jersey City and Lincoln Memorial Field in Philadelphia. I'm an AM3 stationed at Chambers Field Naval Station Norfolk, VA. I've always wanted to see her but she never toured anywhere near Washington state where I'm from, 3000 miles from here. The huge bonus was she opened up for Coldplay and their show was totally awesome.

Yes it was!! And I'm an MM2, now in the Reserves but used to be stationed on the IKE. When I was living on Norfolk Naval Base, I was living in PPV (Miller Hall) near Chambers Field and used to do a lot of plane spotting there! I loved it there, but I'm so glad I'm off active duty and back home in Upstate NY far away from Virginia. Lol But yeah, huge fan of both Foxes and Coldplay (and Alessia Cara for that matter)!
