Possibly one of the biggest Golden Orb spiders ever found. This is a fantastic spider that's well worth a special video. This area is related to the redback spider tank, in a while you will all understand why! One amazing spider leads to another ;)
leokimvideo just noticed it. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! You deserve it for the quality Thomas and Redback videos you put out! Keep up the great work!
*Sees thumbail* Thats a big spider. Do I really want to watch it? Do I want to be creeped out? Eh why not. The manly Australian voice makes me feel safe.
I think if ever we discover a hostile Alien planet like in Starship Troopers we should just send in the Australians. They're used to dealing with things that want you dead
I think I finally understand why I love your channel so much Leokim, not only are you learning yourself everyday but you're teaching your audience as well, but the main thing is youre like a RUclips Steve Irwin with all the enthusiasm you bring to your videos, keep doing well man and best of luck!!!
ahhhh the JOROGUMO. THE BINDING BRIDE.japanese legend says that if a golden orb weaver lives to 400 years, than she has the ability to shape shift into a beautiful woman to lure men only to turn back into a spider and eat them. a beautiful find, just amazing. i had one in my garden last year, and i made sure to watch her and feed her often. hoping for spiderlings this spring.
So many people asking to put her in the redback tank, he can't catch her without destroying her web. I don't think he wants that and her webs are several metres across, too big for the spider tank
Ink i’d like to see the red backs in the orb web. You keep putting other things into the red back tank & it seems a bit unfair. I’d recommend putting critters that don’t need an advantage of their own environment into the red back tank - like a sulpugid. Sulpugids are voracious & don’t need their own habitats to be competitive with the red backs.
Even tho you get negative comments sometimes its still nice to know you have people who love your content and aren't bias about what you upload. Something to remeber it's your channel you decide what you want to upload. keep up the amazing work!
Put it in the tank! Luckily the venom isn't as dangerous as a widow, but will still leave some redness and soreness. I have seen a few of these but luckily due to the shadow of a nearby light I avoided walking into it!
Bobman84 should see the size of them in the Northern Territory!! This one is between small and medium compared to the ones in the Top End of Australia!!
The way you described walking in the bush and then getting caught in its web and then Having it on your face really freaked me out ....... Australia ..... Full of NOPES !
It's Australia mate, Better to see something before you step on it or walk into it or fall into a mine shaft...or down a slope/cliff.. same for any place in the world...
Love your work Love your Videos and cant appreciate your work more then i already do, i really enjoy your content ! Keep up the great videos and for being yourself! Thanks Go Spider Vids
"WAAAHH THAT'S SO UGLY!" LOL Love your videos and comentary, screw all the haters. Really fascinating to get a closeup of all these spiders, even though they freak me the hell out.
Wow-- what an amazing encounter! Such a cool spider, too! I like to admire spiders like this, but at a distance... definitely wouldn't want a face-to-spider encounter, haha.
RimorDeIgnotis actually cellar spiders are known to hunt down redbacks. While the Cellar Spider has one of the least potent venom to humans/mammals, it’s still very deadly to spiders.
Not a fan of spiders at all but you have made me see the beauty in redbacks. A very feminine spider really. Gorgeous legs on them. This spider would have given me nightmares for months if i got close like you did!!! Really camera work tho and great shots of her eating. Awesome video and glad i dont live where those bastards live.
Actually, I like spiders. That doesn't change my statement above x_x Snakes (poisonous), lots of spiders (also poisonous), platypus (freaky creature. Again, poisonous!), -dino- ostriches... And now ants. What else!? Oh! Forgot about kangaroos beating people up everywhere. At least they're not poisonous =_=
i have one in my yard... and i feed it cockroach every two days.. now it spans the size of my hand.. its wonderful having these creatures around they fascinate me
We have golden orb spiders here in the states, especially towards the south eastern coast! These monsters are awe striking when you actually see them in person. The tale goes that back in the day fisherman would collect their webs and use them as nets to catch minnows. :)
Keep up the great work!
you should try and get a white tail spider and put it in the red back tank
What a magnificent find there leo! Do you think Bean would see this?
KillerPhoenix 25. he has already, it didn't live long, a redback got it
bring home that thiiing
*Sees thumbail* Thats a big spider. Do I really want to watch it? Do I want to be creeped out? Eh why not. The manly Australian voice makes me feel safe.
lol
Décès Chan LMAOOOO
So true
As an Australian I find this very amusing... Awesome 🤣 cheers mate 🤠👍
lol put one of these in the spider tanks
Brandon Stinnett true that. It's a redback enclosure, black widows are related as they are both in the latrodectus genus spiders
David Wang the red back is a speicies of the 'Widow' group
shes to beautiful to be closed on a tank
Suck my knife not talking about this exact one or maybe try and put a male of this sp. in the same tank!
SQUAD SHIT GDK yes put it in the tank!
When you find a spider in your house, you burn the house down. When you find this thing you call an airstrike and pray it's not invincible.
But, they're ALWAYS INVINCIBLE
Bladespaid god mode activated
It has the well known CoD BO1 invis and invinc hack. (It's fucking annoying.)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a sissy to be afraid of a 1 cm spider!
Congrats on hitting 1M subs +leokimvideo my boys and I often find ourselves chuckling (and freaking out) over your latest spidery adventures!!!
I hateeeee spiders, but somehow you make them more interesting lol. I really like your videos.
Amari I sub for you
Amari
Do yourself a favor and learn as much as you can about every spider.
Applied knowledge is power.
Lol. That won't change the fact that they scare me.
Samee haha
SAME!!!
I think if ever we discover a hostile Alien planet like in Starship Troopers we should just send in the Australians. They're used to dealing with things that want you dead
omg im arachnophobic and i can watch all his spider vids this was the hardest one to watch
BroManz same lmao
Dude. I love you. Thank you for making this perfect video
I think I finally understand why I love your channel so much Leokim, not only are you learning yourself everyday but you're teaching your audience as well, but the main thing is youre like a RUclips Steve Irwin with all the enthusiasm you bring to your videos, keep doing well man and best of luck!!!

loved it! Leokimvideo is now the spider whisperer
Jeff Smith aye its you again
put it in the tank
YAS
bad idea
It wouldn't stand a chance. The Golden Orb is a huge spider (I consider it Australia's official spider!), but it's a pussy.
it'd die within minutes
one bite, and the orb spider is dead
She make a huge web
Put a redback spider on that golden orb's web
Cricket: Thanks man did you see all those ants?!
Hey where am I and why are you leaving?!
Oh, my, God!
Stunning footage of this magnificent creature. And what a home it has, love the structure and pattern of the web.
Stunning footage. Excellent commentary.
So many people asking to put her in the redback tank, he can't catch her without destroying her web. I don't think he wants that and her webs are several metres across, too big for the spider tank
Ink legit no one is asking

I LOL' d so hard when he chucked the rest of the crickets onto the web...making it rain on the golden orb spider wtf haha
never has the warning before the video been more deserved... that thing is truly scary.
Amazing video!!!!!Beautifully shot. my two biggest fears, spiders and roaches! wow breathtaking!!!
Even tho you get negative comments sometimes its still nice to know you have people who love your content and aren't bias about what you upload. Something to remeber it's your channel you decide what you want to upload. keep up the amazing work!
I'm addicted to watching these spider videos three in the bloody morning..
Reanu Keeves They can stay there! Big enough in Victoria.
Bobman84 I wouldn't put it in the tank, she'll die because she won't be able to make a web
BEST spider commentator ever
Put some ants in the tank
Isac Bremset put about 70-100 of em and theyll annihilate the tank.
"Its a horror story happening on the ground" TOOOO funny!! LOVE this guy! lol
The dislikes are other crickets
The Ruben 😂😂😂😂

Buizel With A Portal Gun
Most likely.
Otherwise, you're libel to get a face full of web.
No need for that, the spider was so huge it looked out for leokimvideo and finally found him
thomastruthseeker and maybe a giant spider along with it.
It's Australia mate, Better to see something before you step on it or walk into it or fall into a mine shaft...or down a slope/cliff.. same for any place in the world...
I like the thought of seeing one in the spider tank.

These guys remind me of the local Asian Golden Orb Weavers, which are pretty big themselves.

"Cmon Miss.Spider DINNER TIME" I COULDNT BREATH BC OF HOW HARD I WAS LAUGHING 😂
I know you think this is too big but, please just find another one and put it in the tank it will be such a good fight
JoshTX03 Thomas not really, the redbacks have stronger venom and there are more of them. Not to mention the small enclosure.
Too much time on my hands true, it would be fun to watch though
OH YEAH PORRIDGE Actually. No! These guys are faster. Especially the Small Orb weavers. they can just wrap them up fast...
Just make it fight 1 on 1 like the praying mantis
Josh Thomas I agree it would be a really interesting fight.
Thanks for the video. Although it's windy, you did a great job. Would like to see more of these! 😃
"WAAAHH THAT'S SO UGLY!" LOL Love your videos and comentary, screw all the haters. Really fascinating to get a closeup of all these spiders, even though they freak me the hell out.

daddy long legs (cellar spider) in the tank
RimorDeIgnotis actually cellar spiders are known to hunt down redbacks. While the Cellar Spider has one of the least potent venom to humans/mammals, it’s still very deadly to spiders.

Those are so cool and I love your videos!
gongrats on a million subscribers!
I love those Spiders. They are amazing
dude I like and respect all your videos, I'm a big person on spiders and trains
when golden orb spiders get to colder months they die and fall to the ground. they also can catch small birds in their web due to web strength
A large home, loats of snacks and three loverboys. That girl is surely living the high life x)
I like how the warning is about 30 seconds into the video, but anyone really scared of spider would already click away after 5
Congratulations on 1mil!
Australia is a scary place x_x
Actually, I like spiders. That doesn't change my statement above x_x Snakes (poisonous), lots of spiders (also poisonous), platypus (freaky creature. Again, poisonous!), -dino- ostriches... And now ants. What else!?
Oh! Forgot about kangaroos beating people up everywhere. At least they're not poisonous =_=
