got the beat should revamp and give us new lineup with a fun concept (I know these fx files aren't empty). I suggest fx's hot summer type song with joy, yoona, ningning, yeri & yuri/giselle, sunny would fit but she isn't under sm anymore

The problem with aespa is we lost their OG management. The new team can’t tell if they want aespa to stand out or follow trends. The producers are so scared of going back to “messy” production. It just feels like they’re trying emulate the magic of YYJ, but are failing to do so.

I liked Spicy sm, it's fun and so unserious in a good way. The song is like a good change of atmosphere for their concerts, cause if every song were like KWANGYA music, the vibes would be so one dimensional and overly serious. MY WORLD b-sides were okay, but I realized after the Savage album, Aespa b-sides have been kind of mid and boring or basic. I would say 70 % KWANGYA sound, and 30 % REALWORLD sound would be the best balance, and they don't even need to perform most of the MY WORLD, GIRLS and DRAMA album b-sides cause they were kinda wack imo. Just Spicy and Drama, WTMW, Thirsty, Salty and Sweet, and even Better things would be enough to balance out the atmospheres in concert.
Drama- I understand it now. At first I was MAD cause I was HARD on Aespa as well, and Savage Album just made me love them even more. They are my no.1 ults alongside Red Velvet, so it means so much to me if I like their comebacks or not. But now Drama is arguably my second favorite next to Savage, though it makes no sense in their discrography imo since it doesn't fit in both KWANGYA and REALWORLD, besides adding another side to them. But it's also so fun to sing along to and the bridge is the highlight imo. Kinda like Zimzalabim where all the chaos is balanced out with the heavenly bridge, and it's low-key quirky, badass, unique, addictive imo

Billlie's problem is they are trying to do the 'we switch it up every era we're so versatile' thing to keep people interested but going about it the worst way possible. Like the reason switching it up is exciting is because you're supposed to keep bringing new sides of your established identity to the industry (e.g. red velvet), but Billlie sacrificed the sound they established with the gingamingayo album to hop on whatever dying trend they can...there's nothing interesting or exciting about copying whatever another group already did better than you (the pop punk tomboy-inspired era, the newjeans soft school thing, that cupid-esque song where they also copied tinashe for the music video). They still kinda have something in the bsides but even that's gone stale...we need gingamingayo part 2!
i think they definitely would have made the Gingamingayo part 2 last year if it wasn't for Moon Sua & Suhyeon's hiatuses 😭. I felt so bad because they received quite good hype in the first halfof 2023 bc of that Chapter 3 Ep, & then it kept getting worse since the other 2 went on hiatuses 😭 they keep releasing mid & safe tracks

spicy is so good. for me it’s their second best title track but the album was not as good or cohesive as savage so it makes me sooo sad of what could’ve been
