Honestly, I take a lot of supplements because I'm very prone to having osteoporosis due to a chemical my Mom was given when I was in the womb. As a result I don't have hormones that make bones. It was a godsend finding a doctor in NYC who had a supplement regimen that rebuilds bones - and it works! I tried going off my supplements once, and the osteoporosis came back. I'm assuming this woman tested a bunch of supplements randomly. Well there are some great vitamin companies out there, and then like with anything else - there are also companies that produce cheap knock-offs that don't work. I think this woman is doing a disservice.
I am in my last year of medicine, i would be pleased if you tell me what teratogen are you talking about and what were those supplements. I think you are talking about parathyroid hormone which regulates calcium.
@@franhar8292 how old are you, if you dont mind me asking? Females after 45-55 can go through menopause so estrogen goes down which is also important for bones, thus they suffer from osteoporosis. But there are alot of other factors as well, exercise, eating healthy, a good sleep. These are some stuff you can work on. Also make sure you get enough vitamin D, because it works along with calcium and is very important. Besides that people go through hormonal replacement therapies, but estrogen therapy has been linked with breast and ovarian malignancies (which is debatable), and then there is testosterone therapy for men (debatable if it causes Prostate cancer, learnt from Dr. Peter Attia’s guest). They can all help with osteoporosis. Don’t confuse osteoporosis with Rheumatoid Arthritis which is an autoimmune condition, with a genetic component and a lil different symptoms.

The title of this youtube is misleading. Too long..😩
How old is she???
She is 46. Born in 1978 per Perplexity.
58 minutes and not one actionable tip. She speaks about religions and societies. Useless.
