Yup, it's funny, alright. Totally agree. But it was meant to be a bit cheesy, as this was one of those stories. Next time, I'll try naming them Ray or Gsbrelcik.
What utter BS. How could approach earth and not know it was inhabited by sentient beings? The mass of radio waves we emit alone should tell them that along with the hundreds if not thousands of satellites. You’re telling me they couldn’t detect the electrical grid, see the lights of the cities, detect all of the airplanes, etc.? Not a chance.
I, for one, Sir, bow down to your superior wisdom. How silly of these aliens; they must have hastily decided to invade us once they saw our TikTok dances, not considering your intelligent overview. I guess the title 'Galactic Blunder' didn’t give anything away either and should be called 'We Researched the Hell Out of Them Before Invading.' Congratulations, Sir! Here is a piece of cheese: 🧀
@@SciFiStoriesUniverse - The only blunder was the initial premise of the story. It’s inconceivable that they wouldn’t be able to detect a sentient society with the technological level portrayed in the story. The rest of the story was fine, but it got off to an incredibly poor start.
The galaxy now realizes that all they have to do is leave us alone, monitor for nuclear blasts, then put out the call, "Clean up on aisle Earth".
@@3rdpig Darn, if only we didn't split the atoms.
Missing the part where we reverse engineer the technology and chase them back to their own planet like with Ender's game. We tend to be very vengeful.
Thanks for watching! There could be a part 2...
Cool story 👏
