I'm glad too that in the end of the day she didn't let the tabloids and the loud people on the internet tell her how she should have been remembering her late husband on that day. They're a real family with genuine relationships and the press should know where the boundaries are which they mustn't overstep.

@Sue Prov This was a memorial service for Prince Philip to honor and celebrate his life, who was Andrew's father and about Andrew providing support to his mother. I really won't believe that any family member objected to Andrew attending the memorial service to honor their father as well as supporting their mother who is having mobility issues. This doesn't have anything do with the family being the Royal Family. Instead, it is about a family in grief honoring the family patriarch.

It has been pure speculation that the amount was 12 million or any amount of millions. Someone in the media guessed that the amount might be $12 million, and suddenly, the internet lit up with taking this to be an actual notification of the amount. Apparently, Andrew's lawyers played checkmate with the grifter and her lawyers, especially when they were suddenly informed that the grifter no longer even had the original photo in her possession. NOT likely...more likely that it would show some evidence of photoshopping!! Of course that whole hysteria about the photo is ludicrous. It does not show any sex act taking place. It shows someone who may or may not be Andrew with the future grifter. It is certainly possible that the original photo showed VG with some else, but that Andrew's head was photoshopped onto his body! Andrew wanted to defend himself in court, but it seems that some of the royals, probably especially the Queen and Prince Charles wanted the matter settled before all the Jubilee activities and celebrations got underway. As for her 3rd child escorting her, the others all had their wives or husband with them, Peter is a grandson and had his 2 girls with him and at almost 96 it was her choice simple as that.

Are you freaking kidding me? Harry is beyond hope? You guys over across the pond need to seriously re-examine your moral code. Harry has every right to be concerned about the safety of his family given the threats made by so many of you so-called accepting BRITs. Do you want to crucify Harry for protecting his family and at the same time end in the same breath defend prince Andrew who just settled a sexual assault case and is still facing criminal charges for his connection to the sexual abuse of underage minors? Respectfully, your morals are backwards and exactly what the hell is wrong with you people? I now understand why so many of the English have left England for the United States of America. At least here we have some legitimate logic. Americans are very supportive of Queen Elizabeth but prince Charles and prince Andrew have more issues than most of us care to deal with. I would suggest politely that your media focus on how problematic prince Charles and prince Andrew are and stop making prince harry a scapegoat for the real royal screwup’s that are really the reason why the rest of the world shakes their head anytime you put out one of these ridiculous stories.

Exactly! She's given her whole life to public service. Imagine how comfortably she could've lived without the constant attention and duties. She's literally working at 95, that says a lot about her dedication to the country. No one gets to tell her after all the sacrifices she's done for her nation, often having to choose it over her own family members, who should be on her side on such a sad day. Same applies to Andrew, he has every right to remember his father on his thanksgiving service, Prince Philip was not a subject of the public, his son can't be denied of attending his memorial.

You all in this story judged Prince Andrew guilty. He has not be charged on found guilty. He was advised due to the health of his Mother,to settle. He was charged by a prostitute. As having taken advantage and attacked by R. Andrew. GUILTY! Really folks. She is guilty of extortion. His advisors should be fired. Andrew was as dumb as a box of rocks to settle. He opened the door to every bimbo in the world to extort, defame, caste out a guy who is arrogant, conceited, spoiled, womanizer, I'm sure BUT, never found guilty and only because he is HRHTQ spoiled ass of a son is he charged. So found guilty without proof. Now is he ruined. Has he made many mistakes? Will he learn from this monumental screw up? He should fire the fools, who told him to pay her off as the Queen could not take this hit. The. mM and Haznut, are out to take down the Monarchy. They didn't get their free ticket, all expense paid by Prince Charles. Jewelry, money titles to set them up for life AND not do a thing for their Family THE ROYAL FAMILY, lie, steal, humiliate employees, hurt them with vulgarity, scald them with tea, vulgarity and threat them Royally...really. Yet, Prince Andrew, accompanied HIS MOTHER at 96 years young, showing her frailty, to HIS FATHER'S MEMORIAL SERVICES, and that is judged as terrible. It shows that HRMTQ Queen is a GRAND LADY first and foremost a MOTHER and a WORLD LEADER with a mind of her own. Andrew was not charged. Or found guilty of anything, except anything. He was extorted and had his Royal reputation further smeared. I think H& M showed their true colors and ended with calling the ROYAL FAMILY, especially the leadership racists. Oprah then puts on a sham interview of lies, deceptions etc and unfortunately Prince Charles was suffering too. He had lost his father too. Now, they may not have had the best relationship but look at the two generations. I think and hope he has learned about EnAbling terrible behaviors. You don't vail out or paay for peace at any cost, otherwise the crimes get worse?!! Hasn't this proved to be true. God Bless HRHT Queen. I pray she will strengthen. A wheelchair or walking stick is rather handsome, and shows lovey virtue of humility. It says so what, I'm out and about. Dressed head to toe beautifully, able to be out and get out of the chair to meet greet and hug dearest family friends, and grandchildren. I'll have my Jubilee my way. I pray that her dream comes true. Don't invite nay sayers, or the family that only wants a free ride. The country has had more than enough of their small minded, greedy, arrogant behaviors. Wait and see those children were bought. DNA. I'm a health care professional, and had the family listened to Prince Philip they would have saved themselves and THE commonwealth, country, nd the citizenry s well as the entire civilized ( I use the word loosely) world from this debacle! God Bless the Queen. Hope Prince Charles is strong enough to step up to the plate. Stop rewarding bad behavior.

It is my job to always love & be there for them, even if I may not agree with something they have done or are doing. It is not for me to judge another mother's love for their child. When someone judges a parent's reaction toward a child's behaviour i try to think to myself, "How would I behave toward him/her if that child was mine" & my response is always what I say to my children, "I may not like or agree with what you do or say but I want you to know that I will always love you." This was not the action of the Prince Harry the world usually saw. There is no denying he is behaving in a way that the public has not previously seen; if this behavior has happened before behind closed doors, then it's only conjecture, so no, we can't say. However, his "security issue", which is the reason given for missing his grandfather's memorial - a man who, by all accounts, doted on William and Harry - is a poor excuse. Even if he had an issue with Prince Phillip, he chose not to be there to support his grandmother, who he keeps insisting he has no issue with. He is now distanced from his family and has chosen to be isolated, save a few visits with Eugenie, which is a far different attitude than what the public has seen in previous years. You can't deny that fact.

I worry what will happen to the Monarchy when the Queen also dies. The presence of the Queen & Prince Phillip have kept the monarchy alive over the last 75 years & unfortunately, Prince Charles lacks the Strength, Charisma, & Leadership that is so needed. Luckily, prince William & Catherine are both very strong & have tons of star-power.

And yes - a very clear message from the Queen. Prince Andrew made a mistake but it was not intentionally done to hurt/damage the Royal Family.
    Different from that of harry.

I was so pleased to see Prince Andrew as his Mothers escort, and joining the family, where he should be. Harry doesn't care for anyone but himself and this proved it today when he wouldn't come to his Grandfathers Memorial Service, there is NO excuse for his behaviour.

The disgraceful thing here is that Harry could not avail himself to attend , but his loss he will be sorry one day. Prince Andrew had every right to be there and the media implying he should not be there is appalling . It’s his father and it has nothing to do with accusations made against him for which there are no criminal proceedings and even if there were he still has the right to attend to remember his father and support his mother. Prince Andrews legal woes are over so move on ppl.

Kathy Hutchinson ,,, Other than Eugenia, how many times has Harry's relatives visited him in the U.S ?.. "NOT ONCE".. If they can fly to Egypt and the rest of the World, then they can fly to the U.S and visit Harry and his children.. The same hypocrisy that You horrible folks put into expecting Harry to drop any obligations in his life, applies to the Royals too.. Harry has tried to visit the Queen, but William, Charles and Palace Courtiers have BLOCKED him with scheduling excuses.. Harry's UK family is BLOCKING the Queen from meeting his Children.. A lot of us in this world are not naive.. We see and hear the CRUELTY directed at Harry, his Wife and Children.. We will never forget or forgive the Bigotry, CRUELTY and Harrassment to the Sussexs after the Queen leaves this earth.. Shame on All of You Hateful folks..

Andrew lives very near to the Queen and it made sense that he should travel from Windsor with her. As her son, he should be able to take care of his mother and, as it wasn't a state occasion, I'm sure the family were in agreement. All Andrew did was to walk a few short steps supporting his mother to and from her seat and to honour the memory of his father.

1800 guests many Royals from elsewhere as well as the extended BRF ( seems like there was enough security for all,of them). nothing from the grandson Harry… what a sad choice by him.

At least Prince Andrew had the courage to face the scorning crowds to support his mother and the Queen, unlike Harry who is still being told what to do by Nutmeg.

He could have taken the children to see the Queen. He is too busy with his Spotify insults on the ROYALS. HIS book will be no different. People are sick of these two. Royals don't care about them any more.
