If you want to get really good with the bucky the secret is learning distances really precisely. Becoming an Omen main with TP tricks is the best way to learn this. Once you have that down there is a narrow range in which a right click headshots are a reliable 1 tap outside the effective range of the left click shots. Once you have mastered that it makes for a genuinely half decent weapon (comparable to stinger and spectre). Still really tricky to use and a pain to master but it isn't completely useless.
