I bought one a few weeks ago. So far it has been fine. My other laser is an old K40. The Delta can be run with Lightburn, and once you get familiar with how to use the various settings in Lightburn, it makes using this laser even easier than the K40. The large work area and list of features made it an easy choice. Got it for under $1,000 with a 'free' honeycomb work surface. Built an enclosure and have it vented to the outside. Added a homemade laser cross hair and calculated the correct offsets, so it's even easier to use. The only thing that doesn't work (for me) is the app...but I may eventually figure that out.
unless lightburn has them turned off for me, if it swings out of bounds due to incorrect alignment, it will slam to the stop full speed and chatter the belts until the panic button is pushed. @@TheTechnologyMan

Hi, do you know if the issues you had with 20w delta have been fixed ?
The initial issues I had I got resolved.
Hello. Is the firmware you installed the one of the website ? They do not tell the version.
Hi they sent me this latest firmware - so I’d try contacting support - they might have sent me an early release.
I no longer have that laser sorry.
why not pvc?
Cutting it produces harmful fumes.
Which is better Algolaser Delta 22W or xTool D1 Pro 20W? I'm looking to make a 1st time purchase. Thanks
Really depends if you want the LCD screen and automatic air assist - if not I'd probably go for the xTool.

Like the idea of adding a laser cross hair - nice one!
Im struggling between the the algo laser delta 22w and the ikier k1 24w pro. Which one comes on top and why?
Sorry I've not tested the Ikier but glancing at the specs it looks impressive! May have to compare it to the AlgoLaser.
Hello
The Algo Laser Delta 22W can also read and process the NC files
Thank you
Yes it can.
How many stepper motor does this laser have? I can only see one but i would assume it has 2.
Two on the y-axis IIRC.
needs limit switches !
It does - not sure what you mean.
