The NSX will always be in my top 5 favorite cars. I found a full carbon body one for $45k. They are still realistically obtainable for the avergae joe.
@@llavero5 It looked liked your standard carbon that was autoclaved with epoxy to me. I found it sitting over at a Tuner Shop in Portland, OR when I was picking up a pallet of Glass Tubing at UST in the Industrial Park area. I walked over there since I couldnt help myself and talked to the guys at the shop about it. The car was clean as hell with a full interior tan/black. It looked mostly stock/oem aside from the had the full carbon kit, full exhaust, rear diffuser, 90s sparco racing seats, a rear and front sway bars, catback exhaust, decent wheels, fortune auto suspension, and some other quality of life mods done to the motor/car. Just super clean and not over the top. I talked to one of the Mechanics and he said the owner had plans to finish turning it into a Time Attack car for the Street Class this summer but needed the money asap for a more important "business matter". Sounded off but I didnt pry as to why. He started it up for me, it sounded healthy, had around 110k miles on the odometer, and a clean title. I would have bought that car in an instant. I probably could have scrounged up the last 10K I would had needed to buy it. I have been kicking myself in the ass for not being more aggressive and proactive about trying to grt it get the car. I called back a week later and It was gone. Idk why it was as cheap as it was compared to the market right now but im convinced if I had the cash or cashiers check I could have snagged her that day. it was in good shape from what I heard and saw given the short 20 minute bullshit session while poking at the car and talking shop with the mechanic. I definitely would have test drove it and all that before final sale. Also, he said he had all the original bumpers, doors, fenders, etc for the car if the new owner decided to go the route of putting the factory body piece back on or a mix of he the two. But. since it was a black from the factory, that carbon kit being so dark, it looked pretty damn good bolted onto the black chassis. Beautiful car and tastefully done. Anyways, it could have been a deal of a lifetime, a scam, a publicity stunt, I dont know given the small amount of time. I just know he said if i had the money he could get the owner there and make things happen that day. It still bugs me every once in a while.
Need some proper wheels and tyres on that race car whats the point in stretched tyres and stupid camber these cars are meant to be driven fast round bends not slow over speedbumps scraping n shit
