The 'whole of the topic in … minutes' videos DO NOT comprehensively cover everything you need to know for your exams. It would be impossible to include 2 years of teaching in 1 hour. These should NOT be your only source of revision • Do the 'whole topic in... My exam predictions are just GUESSES!! I don't have any insider knowledge just years of looking at exam papers.
Disclaimer; You should not carry out any of these practical’s without carrying out a full risk assessment of your own first.
I am human, and I make mistakes, please point out any that you find and there is no need to follow that with a load of abuse.

I genuinely appreciate this so much, thank you!
You're so welcome!
Thank you. Pls make a video on synthetic routes
what actually happens to the hydrogens? ( 4:50 )
The oxidizing agent [O] is looking to get reduced i.e. gain electrons - it does this by locking onto two hydrogens each to form water molecules. So the oxygen pulls two hydrogens away from the molecule, and one of the remaining bonds folds down to create a double bond.
You get water as well as a waste product I think
So tertiary alcohols can’t be oxidized?
they can't be oxidised with acidified potassium dichromate, the only way to oxidise tertiary alcohols is by burning them
