I’m a Postpartum/Newborn/Women’s Health Nurse. And I sometimes agree with you on some things. But I really wish that you would educate yourself on this subject. While I will concede that there are women that use abortion as birth control. It is a myth that most abortions are because a woman just didn’t want the child. There are fetal anomalies that are incompatible with life. Such as Anencephaly, which is a baby born with an under developed brain, and those babies only survive a few minutes up to a few days and then die. Trisomy 18, these babies only survive a couple of weeks and then die, Renal Agenesis, where the kidneys don’t develop, these infants only live a few minutes to a few hours after birth and then die. Triploidy, these infants only survive a few days and then die. And there are a host of other anomalies that are not compatible with life that occur during pregnancy. These anomalies are why a lot of women get abortions, rather than bring a baby into the world who will likely suffer before they die. And there are also complications of pregnancy that threaten the life of the mother and the infant if carried to term. You said that you don’t compound one tragedy with another, but why not save the life of the mother if carrying is dangerous to the mother? Because more than likely if the mother dies, the fetus dies too. And what about the woman that is impregnated by a rapist or an act of incest? Are we supposed to just forget about the psychological damage that can do to the woman to have to carry to term the baby of a rapist, or her uncle, brother or even her own father? I’m not necessarily referring to you, but most men don’t think about this because they don’t have to carry. Respectfully, in my opinion, you don’t seem to have very much compassion for these women who find themselves in these difficult situations. But I know that God has compassion for them. As a sister in Christ, I personally wish there was more discussion and action on the part of men in supporting women (married or not) who face the insecurities that can come with carrying a child. In my career, I’ve seen my fair share of women feeling the fear and pressure of possibly carrying and raising a child alone in severely unfortunate circumstances - particularly after their partners (boyfriends, husbands, whatever the label) threaten to not only leave the woman if she decides to keep THEIR child alive, but to withhold any kind support…. or to only offer to “pay for the abortion and get back to normal…” Perhaps that’s why it seems to easy for some men to distance themselves from this topic? They never have to worry about the possibility of becoming pregnant and sustaining a life with their bodies. Just the possibility of being the father of one. But there is equal significance in accepting fatherhood as there is in accepting motherhood, but we don’t live in a world that believes that. I know my opinion is biased to a degree, but I can only speak on what I know and what I have observed. Men and women know the consequences that exist when engaging in intimacy that was ordained to exist between a commitment to one another and the fruits that would be produced from said commitment. When we aren’t accountable to ourselves and to each other, our world remains ok with dehumanizing and murdering children, just for the sake of convenience. Children aren’t an “it.”
As a man, I really have no strong feelings on abortion. I do think it is bad in general, but being I am VERY pro-children in marriage ONLY, it is basically non-existent in that context. Lastly, my grandfather had to make a choice many decades ago during the delivery of one of their children. Doctors said they could successfully deliver the baby but lose my grandmother or save her but not the baby. He chose my grandmother, his wife. The problem isn't abortion its our lifestyles. Rape is a touchy subject as well in the abortion issue. But the question is who are we sleeping with that when we find out we are pregnant we want to abort the child? Our we a teenager? Is it a one night stand? Another question to ponder is, if a woman does drugs while pregnant can you charge her with child endangerment. Right now in some states you cannot. Allowing abortion under the assumption that a fetus is not a life, has more consequences than people realize

The word itself "abortion" teach us the actual definition of it. To abort a life in the womb is to put an end to the development process of that life. It is to put that life to death prematurely.
And as for those who profess to be "pro-choice", it is easy for them to take on that disposition because they are not the ones being aborted. Their mothers didn't abort their development process in the womb. They are alive and well, walking through life and taking in the very breath that came from their Creator, The Most High GOD.
So it is hypocritical for them to take on that kind of disposition when they were not aborted by their parents. And it does not matter if certain parents weren't in their lives or are no longer in their lives. Their parents still gave life to them, which created room for them to bring a beautiful definition to their worth and value as a human soul.
We are without excuse. A child deserves to live.
A child deserves to have a beautiful experience with life. And a child deserves to express the beautiful light of his or her Creator. People are born into this world because The Most High GOD has placed them in the earth to be a reflection of His love, of His peace, of His joy, and of His healing, restoration and redemption. We do not have a right to take that away from a child. Children are a reflection of The Most High GOD being a true divine answer to the human soul.

As a sister in Christ, I personally wish there was more discussion and action on the part of men in supporting women (married or not) who face the insecurities that can come with carrying a child. In my career, I’ve seen my fair share of women feeling the fear and pressure of possibly carrying and raising a child alone in severely unfortunate circumstances - particularly after their partners (boyfriends, husbands, whatever the label) threaten to not only leave the woman if she decides to keep THEIR child alive, but to withhold any kind support…. or to only offer to “pay for the abortion and get back to normal…” Perhaps that’s why it seems to easy for some men to distance themselves from this topic? They never have to worry about the possibility of becoming pregnant and sustaining a life with their bodies. Just the possibility of being the father of one. But there is equal significance in accepting fatherhood as there is in accepting motherhood, but we don’t live in a world that believes that.
I know my opinion is biased to a degree, but I can only speak on what I know and what I have observed. Men and women know the consequences that exist when engaging in intimacy that was ordained to exist between a commitment to one another and the fruits that would be produced from said commitment. When we aren’t accountable to ourselves and to each other, our world remains ok with dehumanizing and murdering children, just for the sake of convenience. Children aren’t an “it.”

As a man, I really have no strong feelings on abortion. I do think it is bad in general, but being I am VERY pro-children in marriage ONLY, it is basically non-existent in that context. Lastly, my grandfather had to make a choice many decades ago during the delivery of one of their children. Doctors said they could successfully deliver the baby but lose my grandmother or save her but not the baby. He chose my grandmother, his wife. That IS the Biblically correct choice in God's order for the family! Therefore I caution people who think that ALL abortion is sin...🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

A person(s) who decides to abort his/her child has selfishly and unilaterally made a decision to end another person’s life. That without question is murder. The problem isn't abortion its our lifestyles. Rape is a touchy subject as well in the abortion issue. But the question is who are we sleeping with that when we find out we are pregnant we want to abort the child? Our we a teenager? Is it a one night stand? Or is it a relationship we are in and we find out 2 years in it we are pregnant? On the flip side there are women who have kids and don't know who the daddy is and that's a whole problem in its self. So again I ask what kind of a lifestyle are we leading?

It is the woman's choice. Most men do not want unwanted pregnancies so therefore a woman should practice safe sex at all times because it could lead to two people at one time becoming unloved either by pill or by force of the man practice safe sex at all times it is the woman's choice whether or not to carry a child a man is not guaranteed to be present during the pregnancy or the life of the child it is the woman's choice.

I understand that acorrding to the BIble you shouldn't have an abortion, however GOD Almighty gave man Free will and therefore if an abortion is done it is up to that person to ask forgiveness from God, he is the final Judge in all things. Our job is to educated ourselves about it and make sure that we not only follow God's law but put laws in place to protect children who are assualted by grown men getting little girls pregant and forcing them to have babies.
My mom had an abortion after she was pregnant by an older man while she was a Teenager. This man was married so she decided to have the abortion. Do I agree with her, absolutely not but that was her choice. I don’t support pro-choice but I don’t judge them either. Their choice is between them and God. I choose to be pro-life.

that question was a trap and tricky. bcz woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her body and the life of the infant bcz its in her womb, but the father has no right over her body,, therefore he can be charged with murder of the infant.,. but a woman cannot be charged bcz of ' my body my choice.'' ? she should be held accountable as well by aborting the infant, and charged with murder. but unfortunately nowadays society is lacking moral values, total disregard for human life, . the whole concept is so wrong. i've never heard of a case where a father caused the death of the infant by poisoning the mom. but there were cases where the man killed the mom and the infant .
There is a total disregard for human life when people who clearly do not have the mental capacity to rear another human being are just dropping the children on a "so-called" caring society. Just because God has give some the capacity does not mean that they should have children. Voluntary interruption of pregnancy is between the woman and God, just as the risks of having a child and its outcome, good or tragic, is between the woman and God. Women take the physical risks in child bearing and sometimes the risks don't work.

We were all once in the pre-born stage of human development, and we were not just clumps of random cells in our mothers' bodies. We were always separate persons with unique DNA from our mothers. We had every right to exist, to be protected from a death sentence while going through the most vulnerable stages of our development. We relied on our mothers to see their pregnancies through, and not cut our lives short. Those who wish to justify murdering babies in the womb speak about the "rights of the mother" and the "risks to the mother." However, there is there a very real risk of physical death to every child being conceived in a society that embraces this twisted ideology that a mother has some God-given right to kill her baby. What about the baby's right to live? And to call it "voluntary interruption of pregnancy?" Pregnancy is not "interrupted," as if you can bring it back. This is killing a child.
@@gazingupward2802 I believe that a woman should have access of a medical procedure and that is between she and God if she chooses to have a voluntary interruption of her pregnancy. I also believe that the majority of American woman are not so much in favor of the VIP procedure as they are against the denial of access to the medical procedure IN CASE THEY NEED IT. Men have ready access to birth control. All they have to do is go the Rx and pick it up a nominal price. For women for access, it is a jump through legal and someone's moral hoops.
