Hello D-Gibby my friend. I just saw these guys live yesterday. I was front row, only person closer to the band than I was was their band photographer. They were mind blowingly good. I met the band and they were all super down to earth people and really nice. They often say you should never meet your hero because you end up being disappointed. I can say after meeting them I'm not even remotely disappointed. I hope you have a chance some day to see them perform live. Other than Sumo Cyco the rest of their opening acts paled in comparison to Jinjer when it came to stage presence and skill. As always, freckle firsts bump for you dude. It's always great seeing your positive attitude and I really enjoy watching you enjoying the music I love.
Hell yeah brother. I'm glad that I was able to catch them a few week's ago. I met Vald and Roman when I came out of the parking garage that I was in. Their official fan community page had a contest for people that couldn't get VIP tickets or couldn't afford to get them. I was picked for that show, and got to do the meet and greet. I was surprised that there were only 6 of us for that, after reading about, or seeing video of the lines at some of the other show's. It was kinda nice to not have to be rushed through. Sumo Cyco is pretty awesome. They have a ton of energy all the way through their set. It's cool that they get out in the crowd and get everyone involved. How did you feel about The Browning??
@@danielstucky3794 I did not like the Browning at all. Every song sounded exactly the same to me. It even sounded like he was singing the same lyrics for every song. I wasn't impressed at all. But yes, the Sumo Cyco people were amazing. After Jinjer was done I went to buy a Sumo Cyco album and the lead singer was there talking to people and after I bought the CD she gave me a big hug.
@@thebear128,I didn't hate The Browning, but I wouldn't listen to them regularly either. A lot of people say that they felt like the singer was a drill sergeant. Alway's telling everyone to do this or do that. I think the techno beat's and all that stuff made everything sound the same. Was the guitar player painted up?? It was just weird to me. And I like some crazy stuff...lol

The guitarist needs to practice harmonizing with the singer but overall they were quite good. And then there is Jinjer. I thought that the sound engineers could have given a little more space to Tatiana but they were excellent. I'll buy tickets when they come back to Montreal. I expect to pay a lot more then. ;)
Jinjer's meaning behind the song "we tend to forget that real happiness has nothing to do with it- not a career, achievements, money etc. Is it really worth climbing up the ladder just to be ON to the TOP if there is nothing or no one there for you in the end"
You can be on the top of a field and still have family and loved ones to enjoy your success with, though. Success and money don't necessarily take from you aspects that less successful people have.
@@allikitos Success, money and a functioning homelife doesn't often go hand in hand however. You sacrifice a LOT to gain that success and money. Unless you somehow luck out or you were at the right place in the right time.
