    Nascar needs to understand that their format needs to be looked at again as the 4 contenders for the title shud not be starting top 4.
    Every season since this format has seen the champ win the race mostly.
    The other drivers just part the sea and let them pass this isn't how it should be in my opinion...let all the drivers qualify at least for the final race and let the outcome be decided that way!
    PS I am a Chase Elliott fan so I don't want anyone to call me biased and if anyone has a different opinion of how it should go I can respect that also. For the record I was a huge Jeff Gordon fan but when Chase took over the 24 then the 9 here I am!

    Isn’t letting cup series drivers compete in the Busch series a bit like having nba players in a college game series?? Always thought that was a little wrong.

      Quite the opposite actually. Statistically he was one of the best drivers all season and dealt with some of the worst luck ever. It was good to see him get rewarded for continuing to push every race like he did.

    I think NASCAR needs to go back to the old points standing. When a driver has 8 or 9 wins then isn't in this so called play off that's stupid. But they already had the winner picked for the Championship for 2020!!

    • @michaelnosko1997
      @michaelnosko1997 3 года назад +2

      In 2003, Matt Kenseth only had 1 win but also was the NASCAR champion, while Ryan Newman had 8 victories that season. In 1996, Jeff Gordon had 10 wins and lost the championship to Terry Labonte who only had 2 wins. In 1961, Ned Jarrett only had one win and still won the championship over Junior Johnson who had 7 victories, and Joe Weatherly who had 9 victories. Regardless of the points rules, consistency is key, and so is driving your best in the biggest moments.

      @@michaelnosko1997 Nascar is losing fans look at tracks like BRISTOL 160,000 now when you see them at the track you see alot more seats empty. Thats where they need to go back to the old points standing and no time limit if involved in a crashed let them go in the pits or the garage cut the dam fenders off take hood off let them fix the car and get back out there and race. That is what fans want to see is racing hard hitting bumping hard crashing fenders bumpers not stay in a straight line. Alot of people saying thats why quit watching and going.

      @@claypotter4036 You are aware that looking at any crowds in stadiums this year is a fool's errand for fools, yes? Covid-19 destroyed any kind of record crowds for this season. If you're talking about 2019, well, that was last year. This year is screwed up. Let's see what next year brings before declaring the death of NASCAR for the 76th year in a row...

    And people wonder why ratings for the final race have gone down 50% since 2015. what a boring race. why are the championship 4 given an advantage? that was completely obvious they either got more room to work on their cars, or all of the other competitors were told to not legitimately race against them. ew. Congrats to Chase though, hes a cool guy.
