Man, you weren't kidding. Spent over an hour honing an SAP bushing (using a brake hone and 1000 grit sand paper) to fit freely over my new converter hub. Mine was quite a bit tighter than what you show in this video. Now it slides right on and spins freely. still snug, but freely. Just banging the bushing in and not checking this, could certainly turn into a disaster. Can't thank you enough for this and all your other videos on the C6.
I guess I didn't actually press the bushing in on camera but I showed you how to orient it and check the fit. Sometimes you have to fill in the blanks.

How do I repair a gouge in the bore of the pump? The face the behind the bushing… sorry my vernacular isn’t the best 🤦🏻♂️
You could use the brake hone to clean up the bore before you install the new bushing.
