I've been going back through a bunch of live recordings of this song, they're really locked in on this one. Couldn't help but chuckle watching nick conduct towards the end after several minutes of the band landing every single que. Plus that peavey hits like a truck and can cut. Till further notice this is the grail. 10:17
@m0sketti this one has some much nicer grooves within, but i still agree with you. nick's tone is also a little less full. .... i still fucking love this song and this performance though.
No way, man. Have you seen old Tera Melos videos? The guitarist jump kicked some poor guy in the crowd at a house show! Their ex-guitarist CLIMBED ONTO THE CEILING WITH HIS GUITAR STILL STRAPPED ON. Aaaannnd I just realized that this comment is 5 years old.
lucky bastards. i saw tera melos at the beat kitchen on the their first tour with the new drummer and they only played 40 rods up to the part where it starts getting all ethereal. i guess it would take some time for the then-new drummer to learn all the hits in the song, but it was disappointing nonetheless.
@alexanderpugal8068 still helpful after years, for other generations. also, this trick used on "Don Caballero - The Peter Chris Jazz", on bass guitar.
One of the best videos of Tera Melos ever. Can hear the bass very well.
Exactly my thoughts!
these improvisations in this song are incredible!

Holy crap, I can't thank you enough for the amazing footage of this show. Thank you so much!
Anybody else notice the guy with the plate at 8:40?

Epic!
@girafferig Whats amazing is how hes doing that pedal work while playing as good as he is lol.
@m0sketti this one has some much nicer grooves but i still agree with you there
@tcd420 im pretty sure he's takling about the added effect nick adds as improvs
At 00:42 the bassist looks at that kid and is just like what the fuck?

Don't worry I comment on old shit all the time
I hope you realise the irony
i almost crapped my pants :D
@Pacopunk24 0:00-10:17 holy shit
what a sick fucking band!
what does nick's shirt say?
def gave him a dirty look and backed up
I do it with a hold delay. I get the same effect. Looks like he is using a L6 Dl4 though. Not sure if that has the hold effect or not.
@tcd420 Do you know the song at all? check the ep!
by sunlight rules

LUSCIOUS DUNCAN LD you did it!
@PlasticHammer09 clearly you were not adequately prepared to listen to tera melos
what pedal does Nick use for that short "repeats" around 1:04? is that simply a short timed echo?
I think he uses the DL4 to loop one second of a note then makes it 2x the speed. Super late response haha

The kid is just really fuckin feeling the music... give him a break.
@arthurlgoodman you must still be high then
i love it. but this really makes me miss vince's drumming. i prefer the glass room video of this song by far.
Just compare with this one! ruclips.net/video/ycOF6BOTK_M/видео.html
