  • May 2nd 1999, Travel on board the Pathfinder Tours "The Way-Farer Trains " hauled by 37250/73138 front and 73106 rear arrive at Yeovil Junction, reverse past 47747 down to Yeovil Pen Mill.
    Reverse again to Maiden Newton for token to Weymouth, at Weymouth 37 comes off as both 73 t/t for the last time to Weymouth Quay; 138 in 106 out. Note how few cameras being used for this special event. How many of those signal boxes have gone ?....hope you enjoy the shaky vhs clips.
    NB station closed in Sept 1987.Ferries to Channel Island stopped in 2015.Track remains; will Council operate it as a tourist attraction ?
