One time I had to play 5 seasons in the minors it was miserable, but once I got to the majors i won a World Series so it worth the wait
Itz Joaquin thats terrible. Every new rtts I make. I'm always in the ML level by June. Hell I was trade by the white sox(would love to see some kind of message of what players were involved when we request a trade or dont) anyways white sox traded me to the Astros. I won 5 straight mvps with them and 4 world series. Lost my first year 2017 to the cubs. Currently on my 10th season and.first with Seattle and I have 1000hrs already. I can't wait to see the animation when I become the hits king
This needs to happen. Having a real MLB draft would be nice, like they do on the MLB network.
I think they need to add is high school, college, rookie ball, short season A ball, low A, high A to add to AA, AAA,MLB

NHL 18 Be A Pro is a great example. You have three options, Go to the draft, Play 4 scout games then go to the draft, or play a full season in college before going into the draft. It was the best way to build up your players stats before going into the draft, also the way you played in college would effect your draft pick, from being 134 in the 4th to going top 10 in the 1st. They gave you 12 teams to pick from and you played against other teams you couldn't pick, they also have your teammates being real people on that team with their states and picture. Weird seeing college uniform/Blazer on a player for their picture lol

Would be nice if they would add Post or pre game/Press Conference interviews along with the element of college maybe your agent checking in with you more then like 2 times a year

I definitely thought the same thing you talked about in this video... but what about adding rookie ball and go up that way? Add Arizona fall league/ A ball (short and full) change the way you get called up, instead of waiting for the star player at your position to retire, get injured or sign with another team to finally get added to the Major league roster, it should be periodic up and down based on player development, 5-10-15 game stats.
I really like this idea. They need to expand the story to make it more interesting. Keep it up frisk!

I think MLB The Show 18 should give you a more free choice to either enter The Draft or choose a team (like they did before the more interactive RTTS in last year's edition), I also would like to see a feature in RTTS where you can call your agent to let him know if there is something you don't like with your player's current situation and to see if your agent can do anything. More importantly, I think MLB The Show 18's RTTS should also give you the choice to retire at anytime (either immediately or at the end of the season) or in the very least give you the option of how many years you would like your player to play in the bigs.
To some degree, I do agree with the High School and College feature, so you can gain skill points and even build up your player before the next Amateur Showcase.
They should add new spring training fields
Hell they could even make the spring training fields like the ones they actually use because there are only 30 and the Red Sox at Jetblue would be even easier because its modeled just like Fenway

They should definitely add a realistic or sim option. Realistic being that it's harder to make it straight to the pro's after minimum games like before. Instead you would have to work through each level of the minors or even add in College play as well prior to the minors. Making it a true Road To The Show experience. You would then have the sim option which would be just like the current Road To The Show version. Short, quick, and straight to the big leagues.
I wish the nhl games would put highschool and college in them like this that would be dope
I would add: start a couple years back. If you do high school for a 2018 game for example, start high school during the 2015 season or something. Make it so it can almost lineup where your first season in the big leagues, whether as a whole or in the middle, is 2018.
Another thing that would be interesting is if you create a player from outside the us they have the option to be under 18 and become an international free agent
I would love to see them bring in legendary teams like in Mvp Baseball. I think MLB The Show is good, but it lacks some things.

They need to put caps on attributes like in NBA 2k18. It would make the game more realistic as opposed to having a 6’8 280 pound guy who can hit 600 foot home runs and also bunt for a hit and star 80 bases in a season
My high school team plays at safeco field so they could add something like that for high school where you play one game and it is like a championship game
Sounds great. Should also have contracts for shoes and gloves. Maybe even volunteering and somethings outside of baseball

I think you should play at least 10 games in highschool. Pretty much the playoffs. Then you get drafted on how you did in those games

Instead of doing all the stadiumsfor college baseball, you could play as at of the 130 plus division 1 teams in the College World Series. Let's all the schools in and only have to design one stadium. Just a thoughts
They should make MLB the Show so you have to make a decision so you play 3-5 games and then you have a choice to go to the MLB or go to college and there is like a total of 8 colleges to choose from

In baseball you don't choose to enter the draft OR go to college. You get drafted first then decide where you wanna go. Other than that, great ideas.
Not true. The draft is in June. You commit to a college BEFORE the draft. If you get drafted, then you choose. If you go to 4 year college you can't get drafted. If you go community college you can. So your choice is to follow through with draft selection, go CC or go 4 year.
Emmdotfrisk by “then you choose where you wanna go” it means pro ball or college ball. You can get drafted after your junior season or when you turn 21

I was thinking they should have an option where the player has the option to play in Japan, Korea, China, or Australia in RTTS. And there should be ejections/suspensions in RTTS

That would be really dope if they had a college mode. Do like NCAA 14 Did, like explained in the video. But there is A LOT wrong with RTTS tbh. But 17's RTTS is somewhat dope. I wish the fans could help test and create newer features.

I think you should play the showcase and if you don't like the team that drafted you .. then you field offers from 4-5 college teams but high school is a bit much
Great idea. I'd love to play at Louisville and go to a World Series. I remember playing the 06 & 07 college games. A lot of fun. If they made one again today and looked like MLB The Show, I'd be playing both.

I would like to see creative team be implemented in the game so you can make your high school teams and then College will have 25 college teams that you can play against and then you can either choose to get drafted and you play single life double a Triple AAA I don't want to see anything like The Longshots I don't mind little animations where you're getting told that you getting traded released bumped up to double a AAA or the MLB or dropped down to whatever and it would be nice to have a open world and attractions to where you can walk into the locker room get set for that game and then walk up the stairs and be in The Dugout and then run out on the field play the game going to dugouts it do whatever you need to do like make it into a simulation more or less a full fledge simulation

That high school team is the katy tigers. There one of the best high school teams in the nation with 8 state championships. They always beat my high school by like 40 points every time

They should let you take a Face pic of yourself and put it into RTTS. If they did a college level make it so you get draft status updates like they did in NBA and NHL games.

Start in elementary school. Have to worry about staying on in a team. Then work your way up from elementary to middle to high and eventually choose college or majors. If you choose majors you will be a 32 over all player. And take for ever to get up to the top

One thing I don't like about PTTS. I love realism and always want it, but there is one spot I wouldn't mind seeing it get tweaked. Contracts. When you start out you cant be a free agent and choose who to sign for like the 1st 5 seasons (It seems). I don't know the real rules but I want to be traded or having signing options right away or at least when I hit the minors. You only get the offer from the team that drafted you. Anyone know what Im talking about?

They need to make a story mode where a player in the pros at ur position gets injured and you take his place a few weeks after being in the minor leagues. That way ur not stuck in the minors for months.

I know it wouldn't be realistic but bring back the ability to select what team you want to be drafted by for 2018. Having to sim through until free agency to finally play for the teams I wanted sucks.

That never worked for me. Tried it multiple times.
If they would do college teams then get LSU there cause Alex Bergman is from LSU
They should have where you have a choice to play as a generic highschool or create the jerseys and logo's
The only way that could happen is if the game loses sales. Then sony might put more money into it to get people interested again. Remember its about money. Everything they do to improve depends on how the show 18 does in sales.
And the college and high school thing is a great idea
If you're guy sucks you can do division two then transfer to a four year school etc or you go to college as a two or 3 star player you get few offers from colleges like coastal Carolina etc the best scouts go to Alabama LSU Duke Etc then playoffs then go to the minor's etc
