It's the one thing thst annoys me about his gameplay. The cone is literally showing you what direction to run and he completely ignores it.

Mighty you can move the right stick to look at where the ball is gonna land when fielding. You don’t just have to run back without looking.
that messes up the running cause when i move the camera my ballplayer changes the direction hes running
@@DarkN1nja77 Hmm that’s weird. That doesn’t happen for me. I just move my left stick first to move toward the ball and then I can move the camera however I want with the right stick.

Correct in thinking you can't get program stars in the MLB. I am doing all hitting, fielding, and baserunning opportunities to get more program stars faster with stolen bases, putouts, etc. Just trying to race to get to that diamond skill set.

One thing i appreciated the nuance in thid years road to the show was the presentation of each level obviously double A was the most minimal even with before a game less of a lead up, triple was a bit more added but and then mlb was the full presentation with the main commentators whereas i dont think it was like that before
how you rob a homer is you have to count with the arrows like one two three when you read 4 you jump

In settings I believe under fielding you can change the throw interface
Love the series, but it’s so fun to play CF with the mix of the speed and power build! Way less fielding errors and you can make some dope and rangey plays!

Bro when you're fielding you need to run where the prompt is showing you the ball is going to land. You won't miss so many balls that way lol that cone under your player is your most ideal path use it man.

Mighty Goat VI is built different
You gotta follow the trail it leads you straight to the ball and some of the balls to the outfield you’re not gonna catch and have no chance to.
Mighty, when you are fielding, the white on the ground from your guy points you to the angle you need to take to the ball

I play 2B and I’ve noticed that every fielding opportunity is a ground ball. There are no pop ups, or line drives anymore 😢.
Im at RF and I get no pop ups or line drives anymore too. Its all hits down the line or bloopers into the outfield with the occasional diving play or home run robbery.
@@ek9385 wow that’s weird. I went into settings, mode specific, and then I changed it to ALL for (Player Lock Fielding Opportunities). I also went into gameplay, Misc, and made some changes there to further customize my RTTS experience.
I like to steal bases so I set it to ALL player lock CPU batting. That way I can have more chances to steal a base instead of starting with a count of 1-1 etc.
I’ve yet to notice any changes in the fielding but the steals have improved a lot. I’m now 73+% when attempting a steal. I hope this helps you.
@@ek9385 it definitely made a difference because I caught my first pop up, and batters are trying to steal second base now. Still no line drives but we’ll see.
@@ek9385 literally caught my first line drive right after I made the last reply. So changing the settings is the way to go for sure.

I made a catcher for the first time ever I love it been playing like crazy since Tuesday night.already a 84 overall.the pnlt releastic sports game out puts madden and 2k to shame 💯
The arrows help you time it. When they turn green, count "3, 2, 1, Jump" all in time and jump at "jump"
I just kinda time it up with how long in between each arrow turning green, like if it’s 2 seconds between each arrow turning green I’ll just around 2 seconds after the 3rd one turns green and it usually works around 80% of the time
I stopped buying the show in 2018 and it doesnt look like I've missed much of anything since. Looks like the exact same game. Zero immersion I, no fanfare for your first game, not even like a cut scene of throwing the ball in the dugout. Got to be tough keeping the content entertaining when they don't give you much to work with.

Feel like it’s a lot easier to get called up this year. Got called up to MLB three weeks before the all star game.
I got drafted by the mariners and we are already competing in the division, sounds wild knowing they don’t have the best lineup and we are playing some pretty good teams. I’m really proud of my team and them putting up many runs! Most of my teams I’ve played for in the past mlb the shows we terrible at scoring. So we are looking for high hopes in the playoffs

You got lucky you got drafted to such a "good" team. I got drafted to the Rockies at the same time you dud and they had 18 wins. My 1st full season we made the wildcard by 1 game and my WAR was 30.
I got called up, then upped the difficulty. I've been hitting like 160b/a struggling big time. I even went 5 games without a hit, but my team (Dodgers) almost never lose.
Im with the Dodgers, but it feels like cheating. As soon as I get called up, we go on a 16 game winning streak. We're 52 games over .500 without Yamamoto.
I can't wait until the price of the game finally goes down for once.
@mightygoat i know how you can get the team socks, you will need at least one new loadout that has no perks on it idk if it will work with just the default loadout but if you get custom socks and put it on your loudout without perks and then make that your active loudout, right before you enter a game it will ask you to choose a loadout pick the loadout with all your perks then enter the game and you should have the team socks on
