The performances of Bearman and Colapinto have been sent a message to every team to stop fooling around with mediocre performances and give someone in your academy a chance.
Hugely overlooked point in this video is the revelation that Red Bull didn't listen to Checo raising issues about the car as far back as Spain 2023. The new season offered a somewhat new 'base point' but eventually development took the same path as the previous year. This realisation that Checo had been right all along is probably a large element as to why Red Bull gave him a new contract at all. His feedback was shafted when had it been heeded, Red Bull might have been in a significantly better position come this point in 2024. Doesn't excuse some of his awful driving standards over the last year, just important to note that his pace fell off a cliff because of the car's difficulties.
Big time facts. Checo is merely a symptom of the problem and the team's lack of listening to him is what allowed McLaren and Ferrari to catch up. Red Bull will lose the Constructor's because of their own actions.
You could honestly say it's Max's fault - not because he was making them ignore Checo, but because he is just THAT GUY, and was winning despite the issues - so the engineers kinda ignored his complaints as general driver bitching. Recall, he's been complaining too (though obviously not as troubled as Perez) but he was still winning. So they just went "eh eff it, it's working, keep sending it lads!" It's similar to some of the drives from people like Alonso, where they drag a car up and people go "oh so it isn't that bad!" - just because it can work, doesn't mean it's perfect.
@@MABfan11 I low-key wonder if Max wasn't doing it on purpose to some extent. Probably gonna be an unpopular opinion. Objectively speaking, he has been given alot of chances, he was busy jumping boats during his career and finds himself in this position now. The time has come, and times up, time to step aside and let the younger generation have a shot. He has been kept in the game simply because of political and also viewership and popularity reasons, and while many will always deny it, the bias and favouritism towards him has always overshadowed and covered his lack of performance. He could have, would have, and should have done alot more but the down turn occured the moment he left RB for Renault. He is fortunate that at least he is given a nice send off, certain other drivers have not been so lucky and have just been unceremoniously removed without such a nice send off. So yeah, it's just the turn of the time wheel and now its his time to go.

Truth is: only the really good drivers can stay good at their mid/late 30s. Hell even Vettel fell off a cliff with age. Riccardo deserve a seat in F1 as much as stroll does, bon voyage, long gone, ripbozo.
Just a wrong place wrong time kind of situation for Ric. Took over RB when golden boy #2 showed up, moved to a works team that ultimately didn't care to be in F1, was too impatient with McLaren, and is now just in a desperate seat and has no future. Similar to Hulkenburg or Bottas.

A bit late. He should have been replaced by Lawson after China as it was very clear he was not on any sort of pace, if not, at least after the summer break.
I like Ricciardo, but he has half the points of Tsunoda, while having four times more experience. He was beaten in McLaren by Lando and now in RB by Tsunoda. There comes a time where you have to realize you're not Alonso, and have run out of steam.
I think Daniel will go to NASCAR next year. He loves the US and NASCAR, and Red Bull will be entering NASCAR again next year, making it the perfect time for him to make the jump.
As much as id love to have as many aussies on the grid next year as possible, i think 3 is the most ever for us in f1, Daniel does need to move aside for Lawson imo. It sad to see him go but younger drivers someone like Lawson deserves a spot on the grid
4:28 probably made the video before Christian Horner said how they didn’t listen to Sergio about problems with the car
I think he should be a TV personality and I’m sure he drive in other circuits like maybe NASCAR
I don't think Audi would touch Riccardo with a 10 foot pole
Warwick davis, oh my god lol
Lis Truss Cos-playing... That is wordplay on genius level!
Will Please cover the RLL FBI drama please it makes Penske look less like cheats in comparison and that will make me feel better about something this week now that danny is on his way out :(
Truth is: only the really good drivers can stay good at their mid/late 30s.
About time.
Honestly Danny Ric in IndyCar would be awesome
Rinus Veekay is no longer with ECR racing, perhaps stingray could steal the seat? Any driver prediction videos for indycar over the offseason?
I am disappointed to see Dan not driving he has done all the development for RB
Red Bull need the points put him in a decent car and he will get results 🏎️
"Sid the Sloth"
Damnit, I'm never going to unsee that going forward! Nice.

This is where that came from. 😅
about f*cking time.
I hope the guy will be around behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
But it's time to give the spot to a young talent.
I feel like the right thing to do is at least allow Danny to bow out of F1 by finishing the season. But hey, F1 isn’t about doing the right thing by any driver.
Lets see if Checo goes absolutely downhill from here, or Ric flying in the upper midfield
I'd love to see him in WEC, I think he could be pretty successful there
A bit late. He should have been replaced by Lawson after China as it was very clear he was not on any sort of pace, if not, at least after the summer break.
Lance has seen the writing on the wall and has asked his Father to buy Racing Bull.
Justice for the honey badger
Why? He's been given a second chance and hasn't don't anything with it. Let lawson have his chance now
I still think he deserves a chance perhaps at another team or something…
Given Austin Dillon is wasting space in NASCAR I think we should have him move from the 3 to the other 3. At least it would be fun!
@@vtvToba-f2b I think he mentioned wanting to do nascar, I think that would be really good for him and could gain fans from both sides
I would love to see him team up with KMAG in a HyperCar.
Grid is already packed full and young talents are already waiting for their turn too.
the biggest mistake: Daniel leave redbull at his peak!
I do not want to see his career suffer It needs to end
If sauber will be sauber it is time for them to bring a new future great racer in the other seat.
He should have jumped at any Audi/Sauber opportunity. Although, I would have re-signed Bottas already.
I hope he drives in supercars, NASCAR, or Indy Car.
As much as id love to have as many aussies on the grid next year as possible, i think 3 is the most ever for us in f1, Daniel does need to move aside for Lawson imo. Hes a character and a loveable personality, but after seeing what Liam did last year and how much promise he has, it would be foolish to deny him a seat just to keep Daniel on. Its sad yes, but the writings possibly been on the wall ever since he crashed in Zandvoort...
Kiwis are pretty much Australians
Liam deserves a seat more than anyone
Thank you for giving DR the anti kiss of death!
I feel like he'd be an entertaining commentator
No oofence but background music sounds like it's cycled and it's driving me crazy because it's in every video
It has to end some time doesn't it? Hate to see him go, but if it happens, it's not a big surprise.
based off of the circus that f1 is, i think DR3 gets replaced by Liam Lawson from COTA onwards (this is post SIngapore GP), and replaces checo for next year.
