We got chickens!!

After 5 days, the little runt chicken died, we aren't surprised, she was so small....we got to spend some time with her hanging out, she is buried under a fig tree in the yard and will feed the soil. LIttle Duck has an attitude, doesn't like being alone, and doesn't like being held, so we hold duck all the time.

They are so precious! sorry to hear you lost one. I am so attached to mine and I want more, so I need to move someday! Mine are a year old now!

Finally got our first egg today, July 25, 2024. Hens are 4 mos old.
