    Missed most of the titan battle! D;
    Overall very fun strat. I feel like you would have won if you still had an inferno left to clear out all the pheonix and petsuchos spam. Gold-wise you were ahead but not by much, the game is just miscounting all the gold you raised from selling your army, which after you factor in the gold lost from selling units puts you about neck and neck in terms of army value. One small optimisation is just checking the store discount timer before buying any eco upgrades, as sometimes it is worth waiting a few extra seconds and getting -50 gold discount on your eco
    Generally spending any money on income is a low priority compared to just making more units or getting upgrades. E.g. spending 200 money on +20 income pays itself off in... Ten minutes. For that same money you could be getting 3-4 melee units spawning every wave for those next ten minutes, and if those units claim the enemy half, they deny the enemy all their bonus income whilst giving you bonus income in excess of what the eco upgrade would've given you. So whenever you get the option to be aggressive, it's usually the best option to be aggressive (I say usually, because staying -somewhat- on the enemy half without trying to kill their base is a powerful, if boring strat).
    The math starts to change for a player that has firm control of the enemy half. Income starts to scale with percentages and the free +20 income boost you get every 3 minutes. You effectively get compounding interest that starts making it more and more profitable to go greedy, as long as you can comfortably stay on the enemy half of the map. Most people prefer buying the +20 income, but imo the percentages are way more powerful, especially in the team version of mythic strike.
    Crunching the numbers, buying +20 income for 150 gold from the start of the game pays itself off in 7.5 minutes, or 6.25 minutes if you have the +20% income boost. Buying the +10% income for 150 gold however pays itself off in 5.77 minutes. But you get a +20 boost to income every 3 minutes for free, so the actual time you would pay off the cost of the +10% income isn't 5.77 minutes. In the first 3 minutes you'd generate 78 gold, then you'd pay off the rest of that upgrade cost in 1.38 minutes, so you're actually paying off the upgrade in 4.38 minutes. Not bad when compared to the flat +20 income boost giving a return of investment time of 6.25 minutes.
    What this shows is that you shouldn't bother spending money on eco at the start, until:
    1. The price of the first few eco upgrades fall at or below 50 gold (as

      Also I love the detailed explanation. Many thanks my friend!
      It will definitely help us win more battle in the future. But I also want to have fun and do crazy stuff in mythic strike!

      @TheGreatTusks I fully agree. I honestly love mythic strike so much because you can just sit back, relax and get away with the kind of crazy builds that would just get you killed in regular AoM xD
      I remember a game dev once said players have the tendency to optimise the fun out of a game, which is why I think it's always important to have fun first and be effective second. Maybe try a mass behemoth or mass war elephant build would be fun to honour the Great Tusks? :D

    Oh no! Can't belive the titan wasn't enough! I've been struggling with finishing off the Egyptians late game, any advice?

      The long range units, son of osiris and axe men make the Egyptians very strong. But it takes the Egyptians a long time to get there. What you want to try is too push them back as much as possible.
      So get units on the field. And counter as much as possible. Do be afraid to sell your units for counter units if that means you stay on there side of the field. The extra gold in one will make up for it. More important they don't get that extra gold income :)
