Gen 2 Hayabusa gauge issue on Tachometer.

    If you try to lift of the speedometer needle, it will come off in two parts. The underlying white and plexi parts is for LED to shine throwe... However on the short part other end of the needle... it is "Glued" together . it is almost like Super Fast Glue which if heat up surface, it might develope some kind of smoke ..... and the smoke seats on the surface of the needle!

    Would be interested if you find (found) an answer to this weirdness, hope you post it, as I'm about to purch a '12 with 12k miles. Nice detail work in the video, by the way. I've watched a couple of your (Hayabusa) vids and appreciate your methodical approach, generally. Thanks!

      It appears to be the servo motor.
      I just take it apart and clean it every few thousand miles. Waiting for it to just die ;)

    Just checked my 2013 model which has 44,000k's on it and the tachometer looks like yours.
