Its a damn good day when i see a Dubé upload. Always great work and music on your vids. It would be awesome if one day you gave us a tour of your workshop.
:) Indeed
Really cool work!
Whenever you post a new video it makes me want to run into the garage and start making armour. I wish I had the time!
Very interesting to see how much can be shaped cold. Obviously some heat needed awesome work.
Your videos are always inspiring and expresses the beauty of armouring.
très belle ouvrage et belle musique
Stunning work. Love to watch your videos. Such great craftmanship.
That would be perfect to wear around the large snake I saw the other day. Merci.
Beautiful piece.
Badass Eric! Cheers from Texas. I love your videos.
très beau boulot comme d'habitude, félicitations !
Toutefois, attention au bas de la grève, à ne pas faire un bord trop tranchant qui pourrait abimer le cuir de la chaussure
Pure arts man !
This is amazing how I just wanted to make a pair of greaves myself and then this video comes out! Will you make a "back" side of them so they will be closed?

J'espère et crois que tu vas me répondre :)
La tôle est trop fine
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with us!
Hej Jonathan Boström
can this be done without a torch
+Steven Good it can be.... but trust me....the torch is a good idea. It can be done on a forge as well.
If your working with high carbon steel you definitely want the heat, plus if so then its pointless if you don't temper it and for that you must have heat. But if you're working with mild steel it isn't really all that necessary and the heat will actually counteract the effect of hammer Harding. Since mild steel can't be tampered you're better off not using heat.
For a beginner I would actually recommend starting off with mild Steel and using heat until you master your Hammer control. That's really the hardest part to get down. Once you got your Hammer control down pat the rest will come to you surprisingly easy. Although a true Craftsman never stops improving the skill of his craft. Another thing that's hard for the beginner is acquiring all the tools you need. I would recommend taking a few blacksmithing classes. That way you'll have the capability to forge your own hammers, stakes, and other tools that you'll need as you need them. It will save you a ton of money.
