Great to see you out on the water again fossil . being out on the lake and in the river just drifting about throwing a line is a joy not everyone gets to do . catching a fish for dinner is a bonus .more power to you mate!
Hi champ In those conditions I tend to favour an incoming tide to take advantage of some cleaner water entering the system. Bright coloured lures can also be effective. Well that's what I find works for me in those conditions. Ive caught a few fish over the years. 😉👍
I agree with you. However on this day it was a run out all day. The lake is about three hours after the mouth. Whilst I did not check, past experience would indicates that the clear water would only get just past the Dunbogan Bridge at this part of the current weather event. Whilst conditions will not have changed much, plan on giving Sunday a go. Should be a run in for most of the morning in the river. Have seen your channel. Picked up some nice fish down there.
Fabian I have seen the Harbour on the news and it still very brown. It will be about a month before the lake receives clear water. Unless we continue to get rain.

Thanks. As I keep saying, a good days fishing has nothing to do with catching fish.
Very frustrating day for you, hope Sunday brings some joy. Look forward to seeing how you go.
Thanks Bryce. Fingers crossed.
Unlucky champ, hope for better fishing days and better conditions to get the big girls.
Thanks Cooper. For what ever reason the fishing has deteriorated here over the last few years. Still fun though.

Sure is hard going in water that brown Bob but good effort for getting out there and giving it a shot!
Rob, you can only stay home for so long. Then have to get out.
