IndoSoul - a collaboration of musicians from different musical cultures - showcases Indian music in a never seen before global format. While working with diverse artists from across the world in concerts and festivals across Asia, Europe, Australia and North America, Karthick's search for his own inner music led him to start this band.
The band's music is a heady brew of Indian classical vocals, the electric violin, edgy rock guitar grooves, Afro Cuban rhythms, and South India's own mridangam. The electric violin takes on a new identity, breaking out of the norms of classical music, while retaining a distinctly Indian spirit.

Vellai pookal remains some of the hidden gems of tamil. Being a bengali, I kiss the ground beneath me to have had the opportunity to be born in this beautiful India.

Great Violin sound, these days getting allergic to Electric violin tone most of the others are using, was too unnatural, great that you are using right amount of reverb and keeping it to original tone, almost.

Shocking that you dont show the Piano player. Didnt the camera man note that, or was it intentional to hide the piano player. Actually it is the piano that has supported the violin playing. Good show.Nice playing.

Probably the song was recorded in a studio- and this was just for a video shoot. Please check the Mridangam artist when he strikes the Ghungroos/ Gajjalu , they are not in sync with the rythm of the music. :)

For Vatapi Ganapthim The Cajon did not suit well.. It sounded Odd. It sounded like some disturbance in the song... May be an another instrument can take its place...:)
