Wilson Fisk is the most fleshed out villain in the entirety of the MCU.
Until Disney ruined him
@@Bankai2169did they ruin him? He’s a weird shell of himself in Hawkeye but when he returns in echo he’s basically an extension of his daredevil self.
There’s a scene where he sends his sign language away for the night then his goons execute her in the hallway without even blinking or stopping his meal
@@Bankai2169 Fisk should've known ASL like how he spoke mandarin to Gao. Him killing the translators was dumb.
In Hawkeye, he failed to deal with Eleanor Bishop or even threaten Hawkeye's family. In Echo, he could've easily executed Maya Lopez's family and burn the town to the ground.
What about Dex
In both comics and the small screen
Frankly, Fisk might love using violence, but he hates that he loves it. Unlike Matt Murdock.
We can all agree Fisk can go from 0-100 real quick.
"Willy ceased to exist when you left him in prison. And now, it's your turn." - The Kingpin to his father
I believe the cuff links also represented his mother’s approval of his murder of his father.
Quite easily my favorite Marvel villain on screen. Great video
He’s not super human but he’s still very strong.
I think season 3, shows just how powerful he was. He takes everything up a level.
@@bantner21 Right.
I think Kingpin was a great character but, he was taken up anlevel by the acting of Vincent D'onofrio. I wasnt sure about him being a recluse in the first season, but if you watch the other seasons, that was best for everyone. Season 3 when while was out in public, his power was absolute and seen by all. What in incredible character.
Rest in heavenly peace, in loving memory of Michael Clarke Duncan
Great analysis I forgot how great this version of Kingpin truly was. A shame Disney is ruining him
While his first appearance returning in Hawkeye fell a little flat as a “surprise villain”, and he had very little screen time to work with, I understand people thinking he’s been neutered a bit.
I’ll withhold full judgement on their usage with him until Born Again. I believe he’ll be much more in his element there with the cruelty we’ve come to expect from Wilson.
You completely read my mind here.
@@Titan.Tantrumgiven disneys track record for marvels disney plus shows i wouldn't hope for much
Totally agreed. This Kingpin was incredible and Vincent D'onofrio made him so amazing
How is Disney ruining him? 💀
I would recommend doing Billy Russo from The Punisher Season 1-2
Yes please do that.
Yoo they actually did it lol imma watch that one next!
@@TheRecklessGamerINC I have already seen that one and it was awesome !
Jigsaw was a good villain.
Vincent D'Onofrio absolutely nailed this character.
This is great. Love the piano in the background.
Could you do fire lord Ozai from Avatar: Last Airbender or Lotor from Voltron: Legendary Defender?
Yes yes and yes this review and the review you did on Ben Poindexter are both connected. Plus it is long overdue.
These are phenomenal breakdowns! Great insights and I hope you keep doing them.
Thanks, will do!
Daredevil and Kingpin is my favorite comic rivalry.
A lovely boy
Thank you so much. Glad we found you.
Kingpin should make an appearance on the Powerpuff Girls
What?!
Man, what would I do for a more darker Marvel universe on film and TV - R rated Punisher and Daredevil shows, R rated dark vampire movies with Blade, a darker X-men in it, focusing on Wolverine and Deadpool. A darker version of Spider-Man, focusing on Green Goblin, Venom and Kingpin. Too bad the MCU is getting too family friendly now... We can only dream. :(
The OCD plus PTSD
I love your content! I truly enjoy the articulation and the details covered in each video!
Could you please do some about villains from the God of war franchise: Heimdall and Bulder are so great!
Is that the same actor who portrayed Pvt Pile?
Yes. His name is Vincent D'Onofrio.
@@cyan0984 Wow, he is one hell of an actor!
"" even fisk admits before their wedding that he was afraid of his own self deception and that perhaps the reason he was attracted to her was because he sees his own reflection in her ""
Dam that's gotta be one of the Harshest unintentional Burns ever lol he's Basically saying when he looks at her he sees a chubby bald man 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
2Pac Bishop performance in Juice
I didn't know they had Vincent in the stupid new TV shows he was great in daredevil. Nailed it , to say the cliche
Excellent villain
I disagree that Fisk is a sociopath. He does have a an ability to feel empathy (albeit a very weak one due to his trauma) as shown with his mother, Wesley and his wife. When his mother was being beaten you can see how horrified kid Fisk felt if he truly was a sociopath he probably wouldn’t have felt that and probably wouldn’t have killed his dad. His cruel nature is artificially created as you said he used to be kind and gentle and it was the murder of his father that turned him cruel and power hungry. You also said he didn’t feel shame and I disagree too since he felt a very strong need to delude himself into believing he was a savior if he couldn’t feel shame why would he care so much whether he was a savior or an oppressor? I believe he was deeply ashamed of his actions and that sparked his need to convince himself that he was actually a savior that he wasn’t a cruel oppressor. I agree he is very detached from other people but that’s just a coping mechanism because of his past trauma and when he actually lets them in into his life he feels empathy for them and is very caring.
Edit: Not to mention he feels remorse too. The remorse of letting Wesley go take care of Rachel alone ate away at him.
Can you please do Chucky (Charles Lee Ray) for the Child’s Play series?
wowwwwwwwwwwwww
Can you do Azog from the Hobbit trilogy??
Say it with me: "A-non-NYM-ity"
Proof that it’s not narrated by an AI
Can you do a video on the Queen of hearts please
This was great character development and portrayal on Netflix's part, it was later of course RUINED by Disney's MCU characters.
The Disney MCU has ruined the characters of Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, DareDevil, The Vision, Spider-Man and others.
I partially agree. I still liked MCU Spiderman given that it was established to be different from other iterations however he didn’t become interesting until “No Way Home”.
Vision was okay but didn’t leave a long lasting impression.
Daredevil was probably the best aspect of She-Hulk given how terrible it was but he was made to do a lot of out of character and silly things just to fit the tone of the show which I didn’t like.
I think Bruce Banner really suffered the most in the MCU. He had a really interesting story in “Avengers” but following “Ragnorok” he’s regulated to comic relief side character and ultimately just looses his humanity that made him interesting.
Tony Stark is the closest character to come out unscathed by the inconsistent yet comedic approach of the MCU and had a good conclusion next to Captain America.
No, they didn't. Then again you guys never bother to read the comics anyway. Daredevil acts like that too. He switches between being serious and very jokey a lot.
If you guys ever bothered to Read Daredevil:Yellow then you'd see that but I bet you won't
Ln the mind of a villain I like you do a character d analysis on (skeletor) from the He-Man and the Masters of the universe franchise will you do that please 🥺 ?
He is strong will hardworking manipulative criminal aggressive orderly aggressive business like but miserably insecure kid like charming ruthless minded fearful about losing control of things around him plus fearful of being beat by his enemy way but fearless about protecting his self thing around him way plus he bestest non superhuman dangerous plain sight destructive to others and to himself larger then life normal trained skillful copycat villain
The 2 Kingpins are the same version of the character.
I mean...when you put it like that...yeah... but... nevermind....
Fisak is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times more impressive than the Punihser from the sadistic series
