The only thing I can complain about with Iron Maiden is the production on the last few albums, so I'd love to just have a new one come out with a great mix.
Yes. I read that Steve said “With ‘The Final Frontier’ people think we’re Trekkies, or that it’s our last album, it’s not like that at all.” Even with some lyrics like “The beginnings of our ending has begun” from ‘When The Wild Wind Blows’ - it’s like they’re breaking up.
@@rabarebra Not a fan of anything post A Matter of Life and Death. Their last great album was Brave New World, IMO. Another album will be more of the same which I dislike.
Ive been into Maiden since 1984 a long time. Considering their ages I think there's probably one album left in them. This makes me sad they have been part of my life for over 40 year's. The phsysicallity of Nickos job as a Drummer is incredible. It really depends on Nickos health. But hes doing well now. Without Nicko they would not sound the same and he can't be replaced. I wish Maiden would drop the progressive stuff for a balls out Powerslave or Piece of Mind part 2. Back to the raw in your face power Iron Maiden had back in the early to mid 80s.. But I dont think that will happen. They've nothing to prove anymore, and their music will live on for millennia. Hoping to see Iron Maiden again for a new album and tour!
Hello, I am 63 yrs young, been an Iron Maiden fan from when Bruce joined, cannot wait for a new album, just had the new one from Deep Purple, so I think a new Maiden album is due, Would like to see them do something with LOVEBITES who you did an interview with, or as they said, Judas Priest, greetings from the home of Heavy Metal 🤘🇬🇧
I would love a new Maiden album and i agree they still have something special to offer. A 50th anniversary tour with some rare cuts would be just awesome. I agree with Steve that rolling out past members shouldn't happen as they are not a caberet act maybe as a final ever show at the Olympic Stadium in thr East End of London Also Priest didnt do it on their 50th Anniversary tour which i saw several shows and they just rolled out some belting classics. Yes History of Iron Maiden part 4 - definitely up for that. Up the Irons Ps- Did you watch the Dynamo Kiev game tonight vs Rangers - what were your thoughts and can you win in Glasgow next week
Aerosmith just retired from touring, as Steven Tyler suffered a permanent vocal chord injury last year. They might as well hang it up, if Steven can't sing. Meanwhile, Bruce Dickinson had tongue cancer 10 years back, and Bruce's vocals were effected, yet he bounced back! Yes, Tyler is 75 years old, but Bruce is 65. Also, Nicko McBrain suffered a stroke a few years back, but is still pounding the skins! Hoping Maiden sticks around for at least 10 more years! cannot wait til the new album is released, as it might be their last. UP THE IRONS!!!!!!!!
They should definitely pull some reunion shows out, absolutely no reason why Blaze couldn’t sing a couple of songs, perhaps all 3 singers on for an encore song, perhaps running free.
Blaze can still sing, and his Maiden material shouldn't be out of his current range. Bring on Man on the Edge, The Edge of Darkness, and Como Estais Amigos! Paul, however...
The new tour being made from the 9 albums means we can conclude the first era of the documentary series, since we are entering the last two albums with Bruce, before the reunion in 1999. This tour is also similar to the first documentary tour, where they covered only the first 4 albums.
I would love to see the next instalment of the Iron Maiden history dvd. i loved watching them. as for a new album, who knows, we may get one we may not, looking at the age of the band, they could just decide to call it a day. but they always seem to have their future planned out by Steve and Rod. we'll just have to wait and see !!
How about a new Maiden album … and to quote what they said in their piece of mind credits (no synthesizers or ulterior motives ) a straight forward heavy metal album!!!!
great thanks for a new episode.. Maiden rules forever. I think we cannot imagine Maiden without Nicko.. but remember that Maiden stiill can make new albums without playing live.. SLAVA UKRAINI!
Yes, yes, yes! PART 4 Please! And it's great to hear that there is no talk of retirement. I do hope that we get another shot to see them live here in my town. They are going to be here in 3 months and we may not be able to go because of some reasons that are out of our control. I've got a 6 year old grandson that has been a fan for half of his life. He want to see, well Eddie is who he wants to see. 😂 So getting another chance in maybe a year or so will be better for him. 🤘🇺🇦
I hope we get to hear (buy) the Thunderstick tape in full--it will be fifty years old in 2027! I have an interview picture disc with Steve, recorded not long after the World Slavery Tour. He said Maiden has always been a live band, so they'll keep playing until they're not physically able to, and not become a studio-only band. Maybe by then, their kids will tour as a tribute band? Who knows? Anyway, Steve Harris is my #1 hero for playing bass and what he's accomplished. Gotta love the fact they apparently had roadies and Dave Lights going back to the 70s when they toured up and down the British Isles. My band is still hauling equipment past the bar to get to the gigs, but hey, that's half of the fun.
Honestly I loved those history of iron maiden dvds. Watching part one was honestly so Inspiring to me and just listening to them all talk about how they knew Steve and how long they were in maiden for was just awesome. Part 2 in live after death was a hilarious watch with more Nicko involved and an absolute amazing look into maiden in America Even the death on the road dance of death album doco and flight 666 were amazing too! I was a bit disappointed with part 3 being only forty minutes long as opposed to the usual 90 minutes haha with only 20 minutes on each album - part four with the 90s would be amazing! 🔥can’t wait to see them next month in NZ
I love Iron Maiden, been a huge fan for forty years this year. If there is any band that deserves to hang up their instruments it’s Maiden. It would be sad, but I would understand. Nothing lasts forever, apart from their legendary legacy of excellent Heavy Metal 🤘🏻 They will most likely amass fans long after we’re all gone, and that is one massive feat!
what I really hope for is, that apart from the documentary, they would release a DVD from The future past tour, which would be absolutely epic. Documentary would be very much welcomed and I would prefer a brand new series of their history thorughout decades. And at last a new album teaser towards Christmas to embark their 50 years!
I thought they would never top Brave New World - then along came A Matter Of Life And Death. And somehow Senjutsu tops even that! Still plenty in the tank for Maiden creatively. I can't think of another band that just keeps getting better and better. They are a metal miracle.
Would love to see the band from the 90's and hear from blaze bayley and if they did a farewell tour they should have blaze and Paul's band do support slots
Future Past added some sorely needed unplayed (or only album tour-played) ones, but yeah, there's still lots of them. The Prophecy, Only the Good Die Young, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (played once ever), Fates Warning, Judas Be My Guide, Como Estais Amigos, The Nomad, The Man Who Would Be King, The Parchment - is that a setlist or what?
I do not believe that when they retire, they'll announce it as a big drawn out "Farewell Tour" I believe it'll either be an abrupt thing during, or at the end of a tour, or a press release.
I would love to get some special editions of the albums for the 50th, maybe some deluxe vinyl with additional live recordings like they did for NOTB 40th anniversary. I don’t know how much the band has in the archives but I would literally buy anything they would put out in terms of unreleased recordings.
a 50th anniversary tour, sadly Paul has passed away now R.I.P, but a new tour with Bruce & Blaze would be cool having both living vocalists doing their respective songs
Hopefully they might release a new live album. Waken would be a good choice. I am hopeful to catch them in New York this fall over 30 years after seeing the Fear of the Dark tour. I want to see them with Adrian on stage to round out the experience.
They may be talking retirement but I have heard that before. Of course Maiden is close with all their bandmates of the past. Remember how they took such great care of Clive Burr. Steve may be looking to try something new but I know I will love it. I love how they break new ground every album. Musicianship.
Nice content, Thanks a lot for bringing good news about Maiden.. Ukraine's flag at bottom just gives more inspiration, the "Hero Nation".. Slava Ukraini! 🖖
Maiden were never going to have past members back on stage. That was all idle speculation. All I expect for the 50th anniversary is a new beer that Bruce somehow had time to agree on with Robinsons. This is the way. The touring next year will probably be a 3rd leg of The Future Past Tour with yet another visit to Download Festival. The Daily Mirror had alluded to this already.
They're unpredictable when it comes to dropping new albums though , look at the last one. They just quietly released it with no promotion , so I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing with the next one and it could come out in 6 months to a year. You never know with them , they're sneaky like that which is pretty cool!
@@mikeg6666 that's not true. 'Senjustu' had the whole Belshazzar's Feast cryptic tease campaign there were 2 songs released in the run up to the album release ('The Writing on the Wall' & 'Stratego'). How could you possibly have missed that?
I know amazing news from Steve i think they have material for a couple of albums maiden are still very strong creatively and as he said they value what they do now maiden will be making music and touring for a long time yet up the IRONS
Will the 50th Anniversary only be one thing or a whole tour because i wsnt it to be a big tour because Bruce said in an interview that it will be a big 2026 tour planned
I really hope Maiden have some big releases up their sleeve when they hang it up. Such as, documentaries, 2007 tour pro footage etc. Maiden have always been 'better' in their later years compared to other bands that desperately cling on to their heyday and release new albums that no one cares for. So some random live tracks from a random city on a random tour, doesn't really cut it for after they retire. They've always been better and cooler than that. Sad but also excited to see post-maiden life.
I freaking love the documentaries... and if you noticed, they came from live releases of each end of eras... Then a live Donnigton remaster, with the end of Bruce first era, followed by a release of a Blaze live ( YES, there is good ones guys ) , or the Rock in Rio remastered to cover the Blaze era ( please some love for him live ) and the return of Bruce... Then... there is plenty of Docu about their next legs... from various dvds, like Dance of death tour, Flight 666, etc etc...So ... As for the reunion idea with past members, i would love them to organize an allstar opening act followed by the current band... tracing 50 years of the lineups.. Think of what def leppards did in Vegas, with the Dead Flatbirds, covering tons of early deep cuts, groomed as a lousy cover band, followed by them, doing the classic and new... Genius Or evenm better... A maiden fest organized by them for them.. With all solo projects as well, from Bruce, to British lions of course... but also Dianno, Blaze solo stuff, and maybe some even deeper stuff like Gogmagog, prying mantis, Smason, etc... And even the kids of the band playing too... and why not even invite PRIEST to conclude in an "apothéose" Ok ok...i can only dream

I can confirm the rock and metal community here has always been GIGANTIC and if that documentary is real daaamnn!! that’s amazing
up the irons from Sonora, Mexico!!!
Great video as always!!!
Keep the albums coming !!
I remember bruce dickinson said that as long as they are capable of playing live and making albums they will still do it until they die on stage
Nicko is almost at that point 😢
@@mikem.7921 this comment doesn't sit right with me...
nicko is fine, it's absolutely possible to survive "a small stroke" and live healthily for another how many years! bruce had cancer a decade ago and is totally healthy nowadays
Great report. Thank you from Cincinnati.
I’ve been waiting for part 4
The only thing I can complain about with Iron Maiden is the production on the last few albums, so I'd love to just have a new one come out with a great mix.
Anybody remember when we thought The Final Frontier was gonna be the last one!? 😅
Like as it was yesterday, 14 years ago, yes.
Yes. I read that Steve said “With ‘The Final Frontier’ people think we’re Trekkies, or that it’s our last album, it’s not like that at all.”
Even with some lyrics like “The beginnings of our ending has begun” from ‘When The Wild Wind Blows’ - it’s like they’re breaking up.
It should've been.
@@rodycaz8984 Bad album to end with.
I’m finally going to get to see them play this October!
U do great work mate .God love your country give them he'll boys.. I'm seeing MAIDEN in Sydney in 4 weeks + 6 days.. tomo from 🇭🇲❤ 🇺🇦🤟
I would love a new Maiden album and i agree they still have something special to offer.
A 50th anniversary tour with some rare cuts would be just awesome.
I agree with Steve that rolling out past members shouldn't happen as they are not a caberet act maybe as a final ever show at the Olympic Stadium in thr East End of London
Also Priest didnt do it on their 50th Anniversary tour which i saw several shows and they just rolled out some belting classics.
Yes History of Iron Maiden part 4 - definitely up for that.
Up the Irons
Ps- Did you watch the Dynamo Kiev game tonight vs Rangers - what were your thoughts and can you win in Glasgow next week
50 years as Awsome..46 years on Top..Iron Maiden..We will never forget what you have Bring us..!!
I thought Aerosmith were touring in Europe right now?🤔 I could've sworn I just heard that not too long ago...
@@mikeg6666 they released a statement a few days ago confirming that it was finished
50!!! That’s nuts!! Iron Maiden are the ultimate
The new tour being made from the 9 albums means we can conclude the first era of the documentary series, since we are entering the last two albums with Bruce, before the reunion in 1999.
This tour is also similar to the first documentary tour, where they covered only the first 4 albums.
+@mikatu,
Your comment confuses me.
Awesome video BTW you are the only channel aside from Maidens official one I will come to for news. Awesome channel 👏
This is great news!!!! All of it!
Can't wait for the next studio album and tour
Героям Слава! Thanks!
God Bless them with health and happiness playing for us ❤
Honestly I loved those history of iron maiden dvds. Watching part one was honestly so Inspiring to me and just listening to them all talk about how they knew Steve and how long they were in maiden for was just awesome. Part 2 in live after death was a hilarious watch with more Nicko involved and an absolute amazing look into maiden in America
Even the death on the road dance of death album doco and flight 666 were amazing too!
Nothing lasts forever, apart from their legendary legacy of excellent Heavy Metal 🤘🏻
They will most likely amass fans long after we’re all gone, and that is one massive feat!
Iron Maiden 25 12 75 until forever
what I really hope for is, that apart from the documentary, they would release a DVD from The future past tour, which would be absolutely epic. Documentary would be very much welcomed and I would prefer a brand new series of their history thorughout decades. And at last a new album teaser towards Christmas to embark their 50 years!
Iron maiden are the kings of metal
Hell Yeah! I want a Iron Maiden History Part 4! Up The Irons🤘😎🤘
That’s not a bad idea, that’s a damn good idea.
I saw Iron Maiden in 1981 with Judas Priest. And in 1982 with Scorpions. Seen them a few more times. And seeing them this year in November.
Thanks for sharing. Up the irons!!!
I would like a live album with songs they haven't played live before or haven't played often Metal
I do not believe that when they retire, they'll announce it as a big drawn out "Farewell Tour"
I believe it'll either be an abrupt thing during, or at the end of a tour, or a press release.
I agree. I think after they finish a tour, they'll announce a special "One Last Time" show. Probably an appearance at Download.
I agree , they aren't KISS and won't drag it out for 20 years 😅
'The 'farewell tour' is just a big cash-in.
@@Don3172 agreed. Or London Stadium gig added to the end of the tour will be a good sign. End where it all started (roughly)
@@pnr8uklike when sabbath played their final show in birmingham
Nooooo, you are not the only one waiting for that dokument followup. The longest Cliffhanger ever! 😄
Yes neeed a part 4 that documentary
Hope Maiden keep going on until the end of time up the irons
I would love to get some special editions of the albums for the 50th, maybe some deluxe vinyl with additional live recordings like they did for NOTB 40th anniversary. I don’t know how much the band has in the archives but I would literally buy anything they would put out in terms of unreleased recordings.
a 50th anniversary tour, sadly Paul has passed away now R.I.P, but a new tour with Bruce & Blaze would be cool having both living vocalists doing their respective songs
UP THE IRONS 4EVER 🤘🔥🤘🍻YEEEEAHHH
Seeing Maiden next month. Can't wait 🤟
Hopefully they might release a new live album. Waken would be a good choice. I am hopeful to catch them in New York this fall over 30 years after seeing the Fear of the Dark tour. I want to see them with Adrian on stage to round out the experience.
Hope for a cool new album, or at least a particularly cool track. but hey even if it sucks we already have a lot of great ones 😌
Is Steve Harris getting rid of that hanger on jannivk gears or not because if he doesn't I want be buying there new album
They may be talking retirement but I have heard that before. Of course Maiden is close with all their bandmates of the past. Remember how they took such great care of Clive Burr. Steve may be looking to try something new but I know I will love it. I love how they break new ground every album. Musicianship.
I want a one/two off show at the Royal Albert Hall with an orchestra just like Alter Bridge did. It would fit Maiden music so freaking well
I'd like to see them record one song with all the ex-members contributing. 🎸🎤
Great info and vid
Where are you filming this? Interesting church in the background!
Nice content, Thanks a lot for bringing good news about Maiden.. Ukraine's flag at bottom just gives more inspiration, the "Hero Nation"..
Slava Ukraini! 🖖
We would LOVE Banger Films and Sam Dunn to do the full documentary. Sam did a great job with “Iron Maien: Flight 666!”🙏🏻🎧#uptheirons🔥
The Daily Mirror had alluded to this already.
can you imagine the band recording the new album live on it's 747? Bruce can sing and fly at the same time! 😂
I'll take more music of Iron Maiden any day
I think the 50th anniversary tour will consist of 1st two album songs like Drifter and Innocent Exile 🤘
I know amazing news from Steve i think they have material for a couple of albums maiden are still very strong creatively and as he said they value what they do now maiden will be making music and touring for a long time yet up the IRONS
In 2025. I am celebrating 20 years as an Iron Maiden fan.
I would love to see Maiden end with an album that is so kick ass, that it’s a statement on there legacy.
For me a band anniversary begins upon the release of the 1st album.
Will the 50th Anniversary only be one thing or a whole tour because i wsnt it to be a big tour because Bruce said in an interview that it will be a big 2026 tour planned
i spoke to denniss tratton in the pub last april and he said there probably would be a reunion at a huge uk show next year
Wow that’s really interesting as it contradicts what Steve said… did he say anything else?
They love it! When and if they pack it in they get old!! 🏴🇬🇧
Sad but also excited to see post-maiden life.
you said they will be on the road on 2025 do you know if that includes UK Dates?
Genius
Or evenm better... A maiden fest organized by them for them.. With all solo projects as well, from Bruce, to British lions of course... but also Dianno, Blaze solo stuff, and maybe some even deeper stuff like Gogmagog, prying mantis, Smason, etc...
And even the kids of the band playing too... and why not even invite PRIEST to conclude in an "apothéose"
Ok ok...i can only dream
