This is exactly why Maiden don't do thatmuch interviews: the showhosts don't understand one tiny bit of their music. How great a legend Steve is amongst the best bassplayers around the world. How it is to play that kind of shows above the age of 60. Maiden have consistently played heavy metal for more than 45yrs and have a HUGE worldwide fanbase! And they always stayed faithful to their music and fans. No compromises! Up the Irons!

You can say with no doubt that Iron Maiden is the sixth son of Harris. The guy continued working in "The X Factor" while he was divorcing the mother of his children

Of course, Iron Maiden has always been superior than Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest and other similar bands.

Judas Priest are better (and a bit more classy) than Iron Maiden. Been around longer too.

Buddy Lotion Maiden eclipsed Priest years ago. Fact. And I say that as someone who was a massive Priest fan. Priest’s early albums were great, but when the whole NWOBHM thing kicked off, Priest jumped with unseemly haste at the whole leather, motorbikes and posturing thing. Shame really, as Sad Wings of Destiny and Sin After Sin are classics. But that’s a long time ago now.

Steve is giving his British lion mates the uplift. I have a feeling the 3rd album is going to be the best. Like Number of the beast was. IT'S hard to tell what maiden album was the best. I'll just throw one out there POWERSLAVE!!!!

Even Bruce and nicko don't do mainstream interviews very often, I've seen them in documentaries but not like ABC news, if you know what I mean, Bruce has done interviews on BBC and CNN but ya talk shows and stuff like that, nope you wouldn't find them in any of the mainstream talk shows. So that would mean Maiden is interesting and a great live band forinterview and I don't think he is very used to it but Maiden got it's success by touring and playing live and making albums one after the other, I really don't think they needed the mainstream thing, in a strange way it worked for them.

@@norms3913 I doubt it... Dave has always quietly gone back to Hawaii between records/tours. He's not into the limelight, nothing more.

The newscasters only cold talk about the 80s like Maiden was only big back then. Little did they know they sell out world wide on every tour till this day and get bigger, better, and stronger. Their focus is insane.
